Respins with progressively increasing win ways is a notable modifier, and although nothing extra is offered in the bonus round, the modifiers seem to trigger more frequently.

Dragons of the North Megaways is far superior to their Megaways debut, with its ridiculously low 2,000x potential, so it seems they’ve learned their lesson. The visuals are not too shabby either, and fans of the original will probably enjoy it.
As for the dragon bonus reel above the regular grid, it’s an innovative way to introduce modifiers and features. The respins feature where the win ways increase per spin is a good way to demonstrate the horsepower of the Megaways engine, but the bonus round could’ve done with a progressive multiplier of some kind. Eggs seemed to land more often though, and the bonus round came across as far more eventful than the base game. The default 18,648x potential is solid, although it will vary a bit with different RTP settings.
