Wild Fortunes Review
The reels are set in a bright forest opening, with the small Leprechaun tree house on the left-hand side. You’ll finally get to meet the little green guy's wife in this game, and she also happens to be the highest value regular symbol. A charming couple indeed, and if you’re curious about what the inside of their little house might look like, you’ll need to trigger the bonus round.
This is really the name of the game anyway, as the high-hit-rate base game will most likely dish out plenty of smaller wins, but seldom anything of significance. Of course, you can win one, or both, progressive jackpots after any given base game spin, but don’t expect life-changing amounts from either of them. All in all, Wild Fortunes is a decent enough Irish Luck release, but it hardly sticks out from the crowd.
Wild Fortunes Features
The 4-leaf clover is the wild symbol in this game, and it can land in stacks on all the reels. It will step in for all regular pay symbols to help you form winning combos, like wilds usually do. It’s also the highest value symbol in the game, awarding 200x your stake for 5 on a payline.
The pot of gold with a rainbow on top is the scatter symbol, and you need at least 3 anywhere in sight to trigger the Wild Fortunes feature. This is a Pick’em bonus game that determines how many free spins you get, and your bonus round multiplier. With maximum luck you can get up to 190 free spins, and a fixed multiplier of 17x.
You get 5, 6 or 8 picks when you land 3, 4 or 5 scatters, respectively, and this can make a big difference in the Wild Fortunes feature. The default number of free spins is 5, with a 2x multiplier, and the more picks you have, the better your chances are at massively improving the default allocation. Landing 3+ scatters during the bonus round awards 5 extra free spins with no upper limit.
There are 2 progressive jackpots that can be won at random times after any base game spin. You can win both jackpots at the same time, and these are local jackpots that seed at $250 (Minor) and $1,000 (Major). 1.04 % of the RTP is allocated to the jackpots, and the progressive increment is 0.3 %.
The 200 Spins Wild Fortunes Experience
We had plenty of smaller base game wins before we triggered the bonus round, and this happens at 1:23 into the 3-minute highlights video you can check out below. We got 5 coin picks, and this awarded us a decent 30 free spins with a 6x multiplier. You can see for yourself how we fared by hitting the play button.
Review Summary
We’ve certainly seen our fair share of the Leprechaun creature, but this is the first time we’ve been introduced to his wife. The bonus round even takes you into the cute little tree house you see in the background, and visually the graphics are pretty well done. Still, it cannot really escape being a bit of a cliché, and the features are not exactly unheard of either.
The stacked wilds can be somewhat helpful during the base game, but you’re most likely to succeed with a solid multiplier in the bonus round. The 2 progressive jackpots add a certain excitement to the base game though, as they can drop at any given spin. Fans of the Irish Luck genre might enjoy this game, but we don’t see this release having a very long shelf-life.

If you enjoy Wild Fortunes you should also try:
Wild Wild Riches - is a popular Irish Luck-themed title, and it comes with a Money Collect feature, as well as 3 fixed jackpots up to 500x your stake. The bonus round increases your Money Collect chances, and you can win up to 4,608x your stake.
Paddys Lucky Forest - comes with an unusual 3-4-5-4-3 reel setup, and slippery wilds will slide down the reels during base game play. These add extra spins in the bonus round, and you can win up to 1,440x your stake outside of the 3 progressive jackpots.
Rainbow Riches - is the top dog within the Irish Luck genre, and despite the weak math model and dated appearance, the 2009 release is still wildly popular to this day. It comes with 3 bonus games where you can win up to 500x your stake.
