Wild Chapo Dream Drop Review
We’re impressed by the tempo in which new Dream Drop Jackpot installments are being released. Wild Chapo Dream Drop is very similar to the original, which is not surprising if you’ve been following the jackpot conversions since the start. Visually, it’s the same game, and you get the same features as well.
The math model has changed drastically however, which is always the case when progressive jackpots are involved. You can still win up to 10,000x your stake in the wild and multiplier wild accumulating bonus round, and it all boils down to that climactic final spin. The reduced RTP is something to consider though, and the fact that a percentage goes to feed the jackpots.
Wild Chapo Dream Drop Slot Features
The premium symbols pay between 10 and 25 x your stake for 5 of a kind wins, and the Wild symbols substitute for pay symbols to help complete wins. The wild pays 40x your stake for 5 of a kind, and you can also land Colossal Wilds that cover up to 4 positions on the grid. This Expanding Wild feature triggers when you land a TNT crate in the base game.
Landing 2 scatter symbols anywhere in view, and not more or less, turns the triggering scatters into Sticky Wilds that also trigger a Respin. You get additional respins if you land new wilds per spin, and the win calculation happens when no more wilds land. The sticky wilds are then removed as the base game continues.
You need 3, 4 or 5 scatters in view to trigger the Bonus Round, and this gives you 7, 9 or 11 free spins, respectively. You also win +3 extra spins during the feature if you land 3+ scatters on the same free spin. A small bonus icon becomes sticky on any position where a scatter has landed, and all marked positions turn into wilds on the final spin.
If more than one scatter has marked the position, you get the corresponding multiplier attached to the wild (up to x5, at best). This means that only one scatter gives you a regular wild, while 4 scatter icons award an x4 wild, for example. What’s more, when multiplier wilds are part of the same win, the multiplier values are multiplied together before being applied.
The Dream Drop Jackpot Spin triggers randomly in the base game as usual, and you need 5 DD symbols to trigger the actual Jackpot feature. You’re guaranteed to win 1 of the 5 progressive Dream Drop Jackpots from the Wheel spin that follows. They start at the following levels:
- Rapid - seeds at €1.
- Midi - seeds at €5.
- Maxi - seeds at €100.
- Major - seeds at €25,000.
- Mega - seeds at €500,000 (can go as high as €10M).
The 200 Spins Wild Chapo Dream Drop Slot Experience
You get a very brief taste of the base game, before we trigger the Dream Drop Bonus at 0:25 into the 3-minute highlights video. We’re not gonna reveal which of the 5 jackpots we landed up front, but you can check it all out by hitting the play button below. You get to see some TNT wilds after the jackpot, and then we finally trigger the bonus round at the 2-minute mark.
Review Summary
We quite enjoyed the original Wild Chapo, but as is the case with all these Dream Drop versions cropping up all over the place, they are mostly for jackpot chasers. You’ll have to accept a lower RTP outside of the jackpot game when playing this version, so it goes without saying you’ll bleed money compared to the higher RTP you get in the original. The game is otherwise the same, so it’s all up to what you prefer.
There are more than enough features to keep the base game interesting, but a full-screen wild win worth 600x is the most you can hope for from a single spin. Larger wins will therefore come from the Dream Drop Jackpots or the Bonus Round, and the latter is all about the climactic final spin. Racking up wild and multiplier wild positions is thrilling, and the final reveal can crack the 10,000x potential from a single spin.

If you love Wild Chapo Dream Drop Slot you should also try:
Wild Chapo - is the volatile firecracker of an original release, and you get TNT expanding wilds, 2x2-sized wilds and sticky wild respins in the base game. The bonus round is all about racking up wild and multiplier wild positions, and you can win up to 10,000x your stake.
TNT Tumble Dream Drop - is the recently converted progressive jackpot version of the original. It’s a cluster pays game with cascading wins, and wilds and stacked wilds drill down to remove blocker tiles. TNT explodes these tiles, and you get 3 options in the bonus round.
Temple Tumble 2 - is both a follow-up to the popular original game, and it’s also the release where the Dream Drop progressive jackpot system was first introduced. It’s a cluster pays installment with cascading wins, and clearing blocker tiles gives you modifier options in the bonus round. The regular max win is over 10,000x your stake.
