Casinos with Outback Gold Hold and Win in your country

Outback Gold Hold and Win Review
At the time of writing we only have a small number of slots in our catalog with a theme from Australia, so Outback Gold Hold and Win is in somewhat exclusive company. The same cannot be said about the Hold and Win feature however, as we see plenty of similar games every month. The visual presentation is not all that impressive either, but it gets the job done.
Wilds can land on all 5 reels, and they land stacked on those somewhat rare occasions when you see them. You can win up to 400x your stake at the most from a base game spin however, and you need to trigger the Hold & Win feature with platinum cash coins to stand a chance at cracking the 5,000x potential. Without them there is no multiplier, and the Mega Jackpot is worth only 1,000x your stake.
Outback Gold Hold and Win Features
The road sign wild will always land stacked, and it can appear on all 5 reels to help you complete winning combos. The wild holds no value of its own however, but the premium animal symbols pay between 6 and 16 x your stake for 5 of a kind.
Sometimes lightning will strike between reels, and this is called the Lightning Modifier. This can lead to a larger payout, or it can trigger the Hold and Win feature. It can also turn gold coins into platinum coins, which brings a multiplier into the Hold & Win bonus round.
You need to land 5+ gold or platinum coins anywhere in view to trigger the Hold and Win feature, and the triggering money symbols become sticky on a new and cleared grid. Only gold coins, jackpot coins or blanks will land during the feature, and you start with 3 respins. All non-blank symbols become sticky as well, and each one that lands resets the respins tally to 3 again.
By default, the multiplier is x1. However, if you trigger the feature with platinum coins, the multiplier is increased by +1 per platinum coin. When you either fill the screen with non-blank symbols, or run out of respins, the value of your coins are summed up and boosted by any multiplier you might have racked up. In addition to the regular cash coins, you can land 3 different jackpot coins as follows:
- The Mega Jackpot awards 1,000x your stake.
- The Major Jackpot awards 200x your stake.
- The Mini Jackpot awards 20x your stake.
In certain jurisdictions, a bonus buy feature will be available (not in the UK), and you can thus purchase the Hold & Win respins feature for 50x your stake. You will increase the RTP from 96 % to 96.9 % if you purchase the feature.
The 200 Spins Outback Gold Hold and Win Experience
You get to see a few base game wins before we trigger the Hold and Win feature around 0:45 into the 2:31-minutes highlights video. We managed to crack the Mini Jackpot, and you can see for yourself how much money coins we racked up by hitting the play button below.
Review Summary
We didn’t realize they had camels in Australia before playing this game, so we definitely learned something new. So-called Feral Camels (technically a dromedary) were apparently imported from British ruled India and Afghanistan at some point, and used for transport. Anyway, a fairly standard Hold & Win installment with Outback Gold, and the visual presentation is mediocre at best.
Wilds land stacked in the base game, although we didn’t see too much of them, and the Lightning Modifier comes in handy at times. Everything revolves around the Hold and Win feature though, where jackpots up to 1,000x can be landed. Without platinum multiplier triggering coins the feature is not very attractive in other words, and there are plenty of better alternatives out there.
| Pros | Cons |

| All wilds land stacked | Measly potential without multiplier |
