We have experienced mixed results with the PopWins series, and previously critiqued the game's speed. We are pleased to announce that the developer has perfected the formula with the release of LooneyPop. The gameplay flows smoothly, the retro sci-fi comic book style visuals are appealing, and the innovative top Zap Reel adds a crucial element to the concept.

The absence of strong modifiers has been a problem in past releases, particularly in the base game. The concept relied too heavily on the PopWins mechanic alone, but now you get 4 useful modifiers that enhance all stages. They activate frequently, so there is plenty of PopWins action. The 50,000x potential is good, and this release is worth trying.

LooneyPop Slot Features

LooneyPop pays both ways, which is standard for this series, and at least 3 matching symbols on adjacent reels are needed to win. The premium symbols pay between 1 and 1.5 x your stake for 5 of a kind wins, and there are no wild symbols.

Winning symbols are removed and replaced by 2 new symbols, increasing the grid size and the number of win ways. The grid can expand to 6 positions per reel in the base game, and 9 in the bonus round. This is the PopWins mechanic, and the grid resets between base game spins.

You need to max out the grid so all reels have 6 positions to trigger the Bonus Round, and this maxed out grid becomes the default grid during the feature. The grid always resets to the shortest reel height after each PopWin sequence, and you win +2 extra spins when you max out the bonus round grid with 9 positions per reel. You start with 6 free spins, and you can gamble for up to 18 free spins. Losing on the gamble wheel means the whole feature is lost.
