Visually, Hustling is obviously highly inspired by another game, with the palm trees LA sunset on the left and the graffiti-ridden New York apartment complex on the right. The scene is thus set for a classic duke out between two rivaling rappers from opposite sides of the country, and they land as fully stacked wilds that remain locked in place for one spin in the base game.
Landing both of them together is what you really want though, as this triggers the Rap Battle Bonus Round. The least impressive thing about this release is, somewhat ironically, the soundtrack. Another developer did a far better job in that department, and the limited rap battle voice-over vocabulary gets repetitive pretty soon. The 3,150x potential is also no match for the popular rival, but overall this is a ride well-worth taking if you’re hip to the hip-hop scene.

The rapper Super Wilds cover entire reels when they land, and the West Wild appears on reel 1 only, while the East Wild lands on reel 5 only. Review Summary
We’ll start by saying that the conceptual idea for this game is pure genius, but the execution could have been even better. Hustling would have benefitted from a wider repertoire of action commentary, as well as a real rap battle soundtrack in the bonus round. We get that the latter would require a significantly boosted budget, but the result would have been epic. With the above being said, this is a solid hip-hop slot contribution with Hustling.
The split screen visual layout (LA and NY) is lifted from another game, but the similarity stops there. The Super Wilds are somewhat useful in the base game, but they truly shine like “bling” when sticky in the bonus round. Increasing the wild multipliers per win they’re involved in is quite a thrill, and when they combine forces the result can be payouts up to a decent 3,151x your stake.
