This slot is a mid-range release, but it comes with a neat gameplay gimmick that is worth seeing in action. It all takes place on a classic playing field with 5 reels, 3 rows and 15 betlines.

Unfortunately, there’s no real theme, and it seems that the designers were focused so much on the Ring overlays that they completely forgot to come up with interesting symbols of some kind. As things stand, then, the audiovisual presentation of the game is slightly below average, though it’s nothing bad by any stretch of the imagination.

The volatility level of Golden Rings is low-medium, but there’s currently no official word about the slot’s jackpot. We can, however, tell you that you can start playing for stakes between £0.15 and £300 per spin. Unfortunately, we also have to add that the game comes with RTP ranges, and that the two currently available RTP values of 92.05% and 94.06% are rather disappointing. To that end, we certainly hope that a much better version of the game will surface soon!

Golden Rings Slot Features

There are 8 pay symbols, and they can be divided into 3 categories. First, there are four card ranks from Jacks to Aces, which are then followed by 3 BAR symbols. You can mix and match these BAR symbols for smaller wins, which is a nice detail, and there are then sevens as the slot’s most valuable symbols.

Aside from pay symbols, you can also get Wilds, Scatters, Free Spins symbols, and Ring overlays. Wilds can substitute for any of the pay symbols to help you out, and they also come with sweet payout values of their own. Scatters are there to give you big wins, then, while Free Spins symbols trigger the Free Spins feature. Finally, Ring overlays can show up on any position and trigger the Pick Your Ring feature.

To trigger the Pick Your Ring feature, you have to land a Ring overlay on each of the five reels. Then, you’ll get to a small pick’em minigame that will land you an instant win. The more Ring overlays you find in the triggering spin, the higher the winning potential!

Landing 3 Free Spins symbols triggers the Free Spins feature, which will give you 5 free spins and a chance to collect as many Ring overlays as possible. As you collect Ring overlays, you’ll move through the Collector Bar and unlock higher and higher Bonus Prizes!

Review Summary

To sum things up, Golden Rings is a decent enough slot that offers one nice gimmick with its Ring overlays. It’s not quite enough to make things exciting, however, and the currently available RTP values don’t offer much confidence, either. Given all that, it’s not a game that we could recommend.
