Visually, Crazy Pug has one truly charismatic pug as its focus, and the production values are pretty good overall. Even then, though, there isn’t anything out of the ordinary that would set the game apart. For example, why can’t we have an animated pug next to the playing field, which is something that many modern online slots have in some form? What’s here is good, but the designers did miss a trick and didn’t get the most out of the theme design-wise.

Crazy Pug Slot Features

There are no card symbols in Crazy Pug, which is a nice touch that leaves more room for thematic bits. All the pay symbols play into the theme in some way, so you can look forward to tennis balls, treats of all kinds, flying discs, bowls with food, and collars. Collars are the most valuable pay symbols, if you don’t count the slot’s Wilds. Those show the titular pug and they are the slot’s only special symbol. They substitute for other symbols in winning combos, as you’d expect. Even better, they also expand to cover an entire reel whenever they land!

If you find two reels full of matching symbols without a win, you’ll trigger the Respin feature. This will respin the third reel, giving you another chance to win. Interestingly, since Wilds expand to cover entire reels, they do actually count for this feature.

Fill the board with matching symbols to trigger the Bonus Wheel feature. This is a wheel of fortune that can net you a win multiplier or a big coin win!

Finally, you can also try to boost your wins with the Gamble feature. It works as most Gamble features that you can find out there, though you can guess either the suit or the colour of a face-down card. This quadruples or doubles your win, though you can naturally lose your payout altogether as well.
