Our Verdict
While the game has crafted decent visuals, a bit of backstory or an intro sequence would have gone a long way. The symbols are somewhat obscure, leaving you to decipher the meaning behind certain icons yourself. The Empress, clad in Renaissance attire and seemingly capable of floating through time, adds to the enigmatic atmosphere. The soundtrack effectively builds tension during gameplay, but aside from Time Freeze Mode, this game is fairly standard stuff.
While the base game Money Collect feature offers the potential for decent payouts of up to 250x your stake, it’s hardly groundbreaking. Still, being able to collect these prizes up to multiple times is appreciated, and up to 6 Ruby collectors can appear on any given spin. This mechanic keeps the base game somewhat engaging, and it helps that the bonus round triggers quite often as well.
