The Elysian Fields, also known as Elysium or the Elysian Plain, corresponds to Paradise in Greek mythology. Only heroes immortalized by the gods got access to this special part of heaven, and you get a glimpse of what it’s like there in Elysian Jackpots. We have seen more “heroic” jackpots in our time to be honest, but the big one will land you a decent £15,000 payout.

The temple-framed grid is placed in front of a stairway (to heaven?), and each reel comes with a different colored set of keyholes. Filling all 5 slots with a key of the same color awards the bonus round, but it can be triggered in several different ways. You can look forward to a few pick and click games as well, and you will collect gems to win jackpots in said bonus round. The volatility is casually low, and the overall max win is an unimpressive 1,265x your stake.

The premium symbols pay between 37.5 to 200 x your stake for 5 of a kind wins, and there are no Wild symbols in this game. There are 5 keyholes below each reel, and you start with 6 keys spread across the different reels. Each reel comes with keyholes of different colors, and you need to collect 5 of the same color to get 10 free spins and one Jackpot Gem.

The Shield Symbol triggers the Pick & Click Game when 2 shields are in view, and you will then pick from 5 vases. You get one pick, and the selected vase reveals a cash prize of 1 to 4 x your stake, free spins, the treasure chest bonus, or 1 key.

Review Summary

We have to say that Elysian Jackpots is well below expectations. The top-tier white-bearded man looks like a creepy cult leader of some kind, and the heavenly twist on the ancient Greece theme does little to engage, and we will probably not be back for a second filling.

The key collection system is decent, and at least you get several entries into the bonus round. The jackpots add a bit of excitement to the feature as well, but the overall 1,265x potential does nothing to help lift this installment out of the swamp of mediocrity. Elysian Jackpots will be forgotten pretty much as soon as it hits the casinos, as there just isn’t anything here that will excite and engage casino players.
