Cowboys Gold Features
This game is centered around 2 main bonus features, and these are the Money Collect feature and the bonus round. Cowboy symbols may land with coin values between 1x and 100x. If you land cowboy money symbols at the same time as you land a Renegade symbol on reel 5, all the cash prizes will be collected.
The bonus round is triggered when you land 3 bonus symbols on reels 2, 3 and 4. This gives you 10 free spins, and you can also retrigger the feature. This is done by landing 3 new scatters on the 3 middle reels, or by landing at least one bonus symbol together with a Renegade symbol on the last reel. You can retrigger the bonus round up to 3 times, and this is also how you increase the progressive multiplier.
Each time you retrigger the feature you get 5 new free spins, as well as an increased Money Collect multiplier. You will get a 2x, 3x and 5x multiplier when you retrigger the feature 1, 2 or 3 times respectively, and the active multiplier will be highlighted on a Cowboy meter above the reels. The Renegade Collect symbol lands with the active multiplier, and your cash prizes are boosted accordingly.

Competing in the wild west genre is not easy, and we are afraid Cowboys Gold comes across as a bit of a wannabe tough guy. It lacks the grit and guts on display in titles like others in the market. We’re not saying this game is “all hat and no cattle”, but it’s basically a copycat with half the potential.
The money collect feature is exactly the same, but it also comes with fixed jackpots. Cowboys Gold however, comes with multiplier Collect symbols during the bonus round, but this requires at least one retrigger. All in all, we don’t see any reason players would prefer this game with all the better alternatives you’ll find in this overcrowded genre.
