It’s been a few years since a sequel to a classic game was released, and despite the math model it has seen moderate success. The partner has gone to the other extreme, at least kind of, with Agent Jane Blonde Max Volume. The math model is much more powerful, and you also get more engaging and hard-hitting features.
The audiovisual presentation is more or less the same though, and the blonde agent looks identical with her long, golden hair flowing free. Rolling Reels award back-to-back wins at times, but the tumble sequences seldom run for very long. The bonus round comes with 3 volatility options (low, medium and high), and it’s all about the multiplier that increases or increments up to +5 per spin. This can lead to larger payouts, and it also boosts the randomly triggered jackpots up to 10,000x at the most.
Agent Jane Blonde Max Volume Features
The game logo Wild can land on reels 2 to 5 only, and it steps in for all regular pay symbols to help complete winning combinations. The wild can appear stacked on the middle reel, but it holds no value of its own. The 4 premium symbols pay between 3.2 and 6 x the stake for 5-of-a-kind wins. The Rolling Reels feature removes winning symbols, allowing new and/or existing symbols to drop down to fill the gaps. This repeats as long as you keep winning.
The Bonus Round is triggered when you land at least 1 Agent Jane scatter on all 5 reels in the same Rolling Reels sequence, and this gives you 3 options:
- 15 free spins with an x1 starting multiplier that increase by +1 per spin.
- 10 free spins with an x2 starting multiplier that increase by +2 per spin.

These are the default and base game values at least, but the bonus round multiplier can x100 them all up to 10,000x, 2,500x and 500x at the most.

Review Summary
The synth wave soundtrack is decent enough. However, we’re not sure whether the ‘Max Volume’ part of the title is an encouragement to dial-up, or a description of Agent Blonde’s hair. Either way, Agent Jane Blonde Max Volume is far superior to its predecessor, despite being audiovisually similar. This is due to the significantly beefed-up math model, and the more engaging features you’ll find in this follow-up release.
The Rolling Reels come in handy at times, but it’s not really a defining feature in that sense. You need the bonus round multiplier to do serious damage, and we like how the progressive multiplier also increases the 3 jackpots per free spin. Getting extra spins didn’t seem all that hard actually, not even with the most volatile option, and it can be quite a thrill-ride towards the end if you manage to rack up some serious multiplier action.
