A Review of the Game

Go fishing with the pyramids in the backdrop in this game. This is a follow-up to a fishing slot, and it comes with a similar set of features. The visuals are odd, but the game is a solid fishing slot overall.

The features are similar, but enough new stuff has been added to merit a second game. You can now win cash fish prizes up to 10,000x via a collector scatter and via the regular line win system. In addition, you get more modifiers in the bonus round, but the potential is somewhat of a drawback. Still, the game is well worth a closer look for fishing slot enthusiasts.

Game Features

The premium symbols pay between 3 and 10 x your stake for 5 of a kind wins. The Wild symbols step in for pay symbols to help complete wins, and it holds no value of its own.

Fish Symbols come with cash prizes between 0.1 and 50 x your stake, and their values are determined by which reel they appear on. You need to land cash fish on paylines to collect the prizes, and the rightmost reel can land you Big Game Fish prizes with values of 100x, 500x, 2,000x, or 10,000x your stake.

The Giant Squid feature triggers when you land the giant squid symbol, and it rearranges the fish symbols to create or improve your win. The giant squid will move fish symbols from locked to active reels in the bonus round.

The Respin Bonus Round triggers from 3 or more scatters in view, and only the reels with triggering scatters are active. The other reels are locked, and fish symbols landing on active reels become sticky. You start with 3 respins, and the tally resets each time you land a new sticky fish symbol.

You need the respin scatter to land on locked reels to make the reel active, and the respin scatter is not sticky like the fish symbols. Filling an active reel with fish prize symbols triggers a shark that swims over the reel to collect all the prizes for you. This makes room for more fish to land, and the sum total of the shark collected prizes are boosted by an x2 multiplier.

The Scatter can appear both in the base game and in the bonus round, and it triggers 1 of 4 modifiers when it lands during the feature:

• The Giant Squid - drags fish symbols from locked to active reels.
• The Shark - boosts all fish prizes on an active reel while collecting them at the top of the reel.
• Collect Icon - absorbs a prize value that’s equal to the sum total of all prizes in view.
• Incrementer Icon - adds its own value to all fish prizes in view.

Land the Scatter in the base game, and it will collect all cash prizes in sight. This means that the cash fish don’t need to land on paylines in order to generate a win, and it thus gives you a second way of collecting cash prizes in the base game.

The Bonus and Feature Buy menu is available in some jurisdictions. If eligible, you can purchase the Scatter together with at least 1 cash fish for 30x your stake. You can also purchase the Respin Bonus for 120x your stake.

Review Summary

Combining the popular fishing slot genre with the equally popular ancient Egypt theme may seem like a good idea, but in practice it didn’t quite work. This game makes little sense thematically, but if you enjoyed similar games, and you can stomach this strange mix, you will most likely also enjoy this follow-up release.

It’s very similar to other fishing slots, but the base game collect scatter is a welcome addition. You also get a few extra modifiers in the bonus round, but the potential is lower than others. The game is “very volatile” as well, which can take a toll on your bankroll.
