There aren’t too many installments in the Wrestling genre, so we are pretty sure fans will welcome this effort with open arms. The first one comes with a higher potential, but decent payouts are certainly possible in Clash of the Wilds as well.
You get to meet 2 male and 2 female WWE stars, and there are plenty of video clips, animations and action commentary in all stages of the game. The main Ladder Match feature comes with increasing prizes up to 10,000x your stake, but you also get 4 different wild modifier bonus rounds from landing stacks of wilds on different reels.
Clash of the Wilds Slot Features
The premium wrestler symbols, consisting of John Cena, Charlotte Flair, Roman Reigns and Bianca Belair, all pay 5x your stake for 5 of a kind wins. Wilds play a central part in the game’s features, and they all step in for pay symbols to help complete wins. Wilds are also the highest paying symbols in the game, awarding 10x your stake for 5 on a payline.
You get a different feature depending on which reel that lands a fully stacked wild, and reel 1 awards 6 free spins with wild blocks. The wild blocks come in sizes 2x2 to 4x4, and you get one per free spin.It doesn’t always land fully in view however, and gold-framed character symbols gives you +1 extra spin.
A full wild stack on the second reel gives you 6 free spins with multiplier wilds, and you get at least one x2 multiplier wild per free spin. The multiplier will boost any win the wild is part of, and you get extra spins from character symbols with a golden frame also in this feature.
Landing a full wild stack on reel 3 also awards 6 free spins, and these come with nudging wilds. You get extra wilds on the reel strips, and when at least 1 wild is in view it nudges in place so the whole reel is covered in wilds. Golden framed character symbols award extra spins.
A stack of wilds on the 4th reel once again gives you 6 free spins, and this time with a sticky wilds extra. This means that all wilds that appear become frozen in place for the duration of the bonus round, and you get extra spins from golden framed character symbols as usual.
Landing a full stack of wilds on reel 5 triggers the main bonus round, called Free Spins With Ladder Match. You get 3 spins with a prize level that starts at 1x your stake. Golden framed symbols are collected, and this is how you increase the prize level. The prize levels increment to x5, 15x, 40x, 100x, 500x, 1,000x, 5,000x and 10,000x your stake, respectively
When you reach a prize tier, the number of golden symbols you have collected is reset, and the free spins tally resets to 3 again also. You reach a booster point for every 5 golden frame symbols collected (not on level 1), and this awards up to 10 extra golden framed symbols, up to 3 extra spins, or a safe zone that upgrades the current jackpot prize.
The Bonus Buy feature is available in some jurisdictions, but not in the UK for sure. If available, you get to choose between 5 options. Pay 35x for free spins with wild blocks, multipliers or nudging wilds. The sticky wilds bonus round costs 40x your stake, while the Ladder Match Bonus Round sets you back 50x your stake.

Review Summary
Somebody must really enjoy this macho spectacle over there, and Clash of the Wilds is admittedly a guilty pleasure of sorts. You get plenty of video clips and animation, all accompanied by the very American action commentary.
The previous WWE Legends had the familiar Link & Win feature as the main attraction, and we are more impressed by all the different wild-infused bonus rounds you get in this follow-up. The low cost of each feature tells you something about the average returns though, but 10,000x is possible in the main Ladder Match round. Fans of WWE will probably enjoy this, and also players with a nostalgic relationship to the “sport”.
