Wrath of Medusa is a brand new Greek mythology inspired game. The slot takes us to intimidating Medusa's lair, splashed with stoned bodies of soldiers who tried to steal her treasures. Now it's your turn to grab the precious riches. Join Perceus on his dangerous adventure to the villain's temple and defeat Medusa in order to claim what's yours.
The game creates a truly immersive atmosphere thanks to outstanding graphics as well as quality soundtrack. The reels are set in a backdrop of crumbling stone temple, and we can witness all horrors of this place. The lair is strewn with stoned corpses of warriors, and there are prickly creepers all over the place. As for the symbols, there are 12 regular symbols. On the lower side of the paytable are card suits, presented in some kind of gems, while the more valuable ones include warriors' armor and weapons, such as swords, bows, shields, helmets, daggers and other symbols like urns, coins and snakes. Medusa herself is a Wild symbol, while Perceus is a Scatter.
We'd not say that Wrath of Medusa is saturated with features, but there are a couple of them that may enliven the gameplay and keep you entertained all the way during the session. The first one to mention is Expanding Wilds feature. At times Medusa herself appears on the grid to fully cover at least one reel. However, she's able to appear only on reels 2, 3 and 4. Moreover, Medusa symbol cannot land the reels during Free Spins round.
The next one is definitely heart of the game. Free Spins can be triggered with at least three Perceus Scatters appearing in view. Player is able to choose one of the three options of the bonus game, though, it's all about random. You are given the choice to select one of the stoned soldiers to reveal your reward. During the free games round Perceus becomes Wild symbol.
This time we get Sticky Wilds with Respins feature. Every time a Wild lands on the reels, it becomes Sticky and launches Respin, and additional Wilds will retrigger the feature.
All said and done, Wrath of Medusa provides unique and immersive gameplay, and you'll hardly have a dull moment playing this release.
