Main Bonus Feature
There are 4 main bonus features in Worms Reloaded. Which of the 4 options is determined when regular Bonus symbols land on reels 1 and 3, followed by 1 of the 4 special Bonus symbols on reel 5, which could include:
- Jetpack Bonus – In this bonus game, you need to pick UFOs to complete the stage to advance, but be sure not to select any landmines or dynamite. If you make it to the end of the stage, you get to pick a planet that will reveal a prize.
- Battleground Bonus – This is a prize pick game where you select mines that reveal cash prizes and multipliers. You keep picking until a “collect” is revealed.
- Super Sheep Free Spins – You are awarded 6 Free Spins which play out on a 5x4 reel setup. Each time a Wild Sheep symbol lands, it holds its position for the remainder of the Free Spins. However, at random, one of the Worms may blast 1 or more of the Wilds with a bazooka, which removes them from the reels.
- Blitz Blast Free Spins – In this feature, you get to enjoy an unlimited number of Free Spins, however, each time a Worm lands on reel 5, you advance on the multiplier trail until you reach the top, and then the feature ends.

Getting started with this slot is as easy as setting the bet amount and hitting the spin button. We set up the autospin for our test and set the reels in motion. It wasn’t long until the first win took place. It wasn’t anything special, but at least we had “broken the ice”. Suddenly a huge banner appeared across the top of the reels with “Banana Bomb Wilds” written on it. This was followed by a giant banana that landed at the bottom of the reels and exploded into many small bananas that then landed on multiple symbols which then became Wilds and delivered a decent win. It wasn’t long thereafter and Bonus symbols landed on reels 1 and 3, followed by a Super Sheep Free Spins symbol on reel 5. This awarded 6 Free Spins with the Wild Sheep landing randomly on the reels. At the end of the 6 Free Spins, we were presented with 3 grenades to pick from, and the one we picked revealed an additional 6 Free Spins. Our new set of Free Spins played out and at the end, we got to pick a grenade again, which unfortunately revealed a “collect” and the feature ended.
Review Summary
Worms Reloaded is fantastic! Simple as that. The theme is great and unique. It is so refreshing to play a slot game that isn’t the usual themed slots. The features are also great. While not all the features are groundbreaking and totally innovative, concepts that work well have been used. What also makes this a great slot to play are the subtle details, for example when there is a big win, instead of fireworks or coins showering the screens, the bombs and missiles explode. Probably the only major criticism is the help file with its limited information, which means until you trigger some of the features, you won't really know what to expect. Overall, we must give kudos, especially for the fact that they didn’t just reskin the first edition of this slot game, and that they came up with a whole new set of features. This slot is highly enjoyable and entertaining. Even though the game has a lower than expected RTP, it still delivers some great wins!
