World Of Wizards Review
This slot game has some interesting features, but also some drawbacks. This review will examine the game called World of Wizards. This game takes place on a classic playing field with 5 reels, 3 rows and 20 winlines.
The game's visuals are enchanting. The designers did a great job here, and the contrast between the two wizards on the sides of the playing field and the goblins and orcs on the slot’s symbols is appealing. There are plenty of animations, and it all feels alive, which is something to appreciate!
Mathematically, World of Wizards is a medium volatility slot, and its jackpot is rather low at 250x your bet per spin. Low rollers can enjoy the proceedings for as little as £0.10 per spin, but it’s possible to up the ante to as much as £100 per spin. The theoretical RTP is disappointingly low, clocking in at just 94.41%.
World of Wizards Slot Features
There are 7 pay symbols in World of Wizards, and they are divided into 3 low pays and 4 high pays. For the former, there are basic ornament symbols, while the latter show well-designed goblins and orcs. While the goblins look like thieves and wizards, the orcs look like warriors. You have to line up 3 or more matching symbols on one of the paylines, from left to right, to get a win.
In addition to pay symbols, you can also look forward to Dragon Eye Scatters and two types of Wilds that show big orcs and elementals.
Kicking off the gameplay, we have Cascades, which allow you to chain wins together during a single spin. Winning symbols are automatically removed and replaced with new ones, allowing you to form new winning combinations in the process.
Forming wins with high-paying goblin and orc symbols will always reward you with either Mana Points or Instant Wins. Winning orc symbols can grant Green Mana Points, while winning goblin symbols award Purple Mana Points. Wilds that participate in winning combos can then grant even more Mana Points, and these Mana Points are then used for casting spells.
Once you manage to collect 8 Green Mana Points, you’ll get the Falling Wilds Spell, which will net you 3-6 extra Wilds that will lead not only to a guaranteed win, but also to a chance to retrigger. Collecting 8 Purpler Mana Points, meanwhile, triggers the Clone Spell, which clones a random symbol up to 6 times for a guaranteed win and a chance to retrigger.
Finally, you can also land 3, 4, or 5 Dragon Eye Scatters to trigger the Free Spins feature with 6, 8, or 10 free spins, respectively. During free spins, you’re guaranteed to trigger one of the spells on each spin, and you can keep getting Instant Wins from combos as well!
Review Summary
To sum things up, World of Wizards is a very enjoyable slot that offers nice visuals and thematic gameplay features. Unfortunately, it also has one big weakness in its mathematical model, which comes not only with a fairly low jackpot, but also with a very disappointing RTP value. It’s a shame, really, as it would otherwise be a hidden gem!
