This game comes with an average RTP of 96.02%, and is a medium volatile game. In other words, this is in no way an “extreme” slot, and it sticks to the middle ground. You need to adjust the bet level according to you bankroll size.

This game takes you right into the lab of a “mad” chemist and his lab assistant robot. You’ll see potions cooking in the background, and the reels consist of a 5x5 grid with an active Avalanche feature on every spin. The magic portals in opposite corners of the reels can grant you numerous wilds on any given spin, and all wins are doubled in the free spins feature.

A compelling environment and atmosphere have been created, and the soundtrack is good. There is always enough happening to keep most players happy, but the potential is not the greatest we’ve seen. Still, a pretty enjoyable game with some interesting features.

Symbols

This game takes place in a chemist’s lab, and you win by getting 3 to 5 identical symbols either vertically or horizontally on adjacent reels. There are 6 high value symbols (including the wild), and 5 low value symbols:

• Chemist - pays 50x for 5 on a payline
• Robot assistant - pays 15x for 5 on a payline

Bonus features

Whenever you land a winning combination on this slot, the winning symbols will be removed. New symbols will drop from above to fill the empty spaces, and this cascading feature will go on as long as you keep winning. You can also benefit from something called the Magic Portals feature.

The Magic Portals feature

If you look at the top left position and the bottom right position on the reels, you’ll see what appears to be glowing vortex portals. If you land identical symbols on both portals at the same time, all symbols of that kind will turn into wilds all over the reels. This can land you some payouts at unexpected times.

Free spins

The free spins feature on this slot is activated in a somewhat unusual way. The Purple Potion Scatter will be collected for each consecutive win, and you can follow the progress on the meter attached on the right hand side of the reels. Whenever you collect 4 Purple Potion scatters you’ll trigger the free spins feature, and be given 4 free spins.

Any extra scatter above 4 will add another 4 free spins to your grand total. You’ll also benefit form a third vortex portal opening up in the top right corner. This increases your chance for plenty of wilds during the free spins. All free spin wins are boosted by a 2x multiplier.

This game comes with very nice graphics and design, and although we’ve seen similar themes before, the developers have managed to create a nice game here. The 5x5 grid and the Cascading feature is a nice touch, and so is the magic portals that will turn a selected set of symbols into wilds. The free spins feature is triggered by 4 consecutive wins, but the potential is not for those looking for massive wins.
