The game seems more interested in the past than in the future these days, and they admittedly do have plenty of solid, yet forgotten, games from their golden years. Veteran players may remember Wild Turkey from all the way back in 2013, and Wild Turkey Megaways is basically a revamped version utilizing the licenced dynamic grid system. You’re taken into the turkey village once again, and the visuals are somewhat inspired by the Mayan civilization, it seems.

The game was definitely ahead of its time in the visual department, as the original holds up surprisingly well against this brand new version. Tons of extra win ways makes the whole turkey turn wild feature all the more exciting, and it comes about more frequently in the bonus round. The 10,500x potential is a bit higher than in the first game as well, and Wild Turkey Megaways offers nostalgia for veteran players and a pretty solid Megaways game for newcomers.

Wild Turkey Megaways Slot Features

The 5 turkey characters are the high-value symbols in this game, and they pay between 0.8 and 3 x your stake for 6 of a kind wins. The Avalanche mechanic makes sure that winning symbols are removed and replaced by new and/or existing symbols dropping down, and this process repeats for as long as your winning streak lasts.

You get 2 types of Wild symbols in this game, and these are the Wild Turkey and the Scatter Wild. You can land either wild on reels 2, 3, 4, and 5 only, and the Wild Turkey will only appear in the Wild Turkey feature. Review Summary

The game continues their tour de force of revamping their old classics, and we don’t really mind this approach to be honest. There are plenty of forgotten and half-forgotten gems hidden in their comprehensive back catalog after all, and the original Wild Turkey was released all the way back in 2013. The game hasn’t really gone overboard in the revamping process either, but fans of the original game will get a bigger, bolder, and somewhat more modernized version.

The original looks surprisingly modern as well though, except for the outdated interface. The Wild Turkey feature is the main attraction, and it’s a somewhat innovative way to turn a bunch of symbols wild. This can lead to decent to solid payouts in all stages, not least considering that the number of win ways can go as high as 117,649. The 10,500x potential is around average for this engine, and a few notches higher than in the original game. The nostalgia will probably be running high in those who remember the first game, and Wild Turkey Megaways is a decent game in its own right as well.
