We have to admit that a developer has hardly been on our radar until now, but the US-based studio has joined a platform for this ancient Egypt extravaganza. Wild Link Cleopatra comes with decent, albeit very typical, visuals, but the legendary Queen herself, sitting on her throne to the left, has a deeply penetrating gaze that rivals Mona Lisa’s mysterious smile.
Although okay regular payouts are certainly possible, the game is mostly about the Wild Link feature. It comes about in several ways, and Cleopatra can both expand the grid and award a total win multiplier for the feature. It’s all about collecting sun symbol cash prizes and/or jackpots, and a 6th reel is added to help you out in that regard when the bonus round triggers. The 4,841x potential is not too shabby, and the game does stand out in a somewhat unique way.
Wild Link Cleopatra Slot Features
The premium symbols pay between 2 and 5 x your stake for 5 of a kind wins, and the Cleopatra Wild steps in for all symbols to help complete wins. She also substitutes for the Sun and Scatter symbols, which is somewhat unusual, but she will only appear on reel 1. The Sun symbol comes with cash prizes when it lands on reels 2-5, but these only pay in the Wild Link feature.
When either the Wild symbol or the Sun symbol lands on reel 1, you trigger the Wild Link feature. This expands reels 2-5 by up to 3 rows in the base game, and Cleopatra may randomly boost the total feature win by a multiplier of x2 to x5. The sun symbols on reels 2-5 come with cash prizes that are collected, and added to the total win. You can also land 3 different jackpot symbols that pay 10x (Mini), 50x (Major) or 200x (Mega) your stake, respectively.
To trigger the Bonus Round, you’ll need 3, 4 or 5 pyramid scatters on adjacent reels starting on the leftmost reel 1. Remember, a wild can step in for the scatter, and you win 10, 20 or 50 free spins from 3, 4 or 5 scatters, respectively. The bonus round comes with a 6th reel bolted on, where only sun symbols land, giving you a guaranteed win if the Wild Link feature triggers.

Review Summary
We were somewhat spooked by Cleopatra sitting on the left-hand side, not because of the golden ball she holds between her palms, but because her gaze seems to stare right into your very soul. It’s a good thing she blinks once in a while, as it makes her more human. The game itself utilizes known elements we’ve seen before, but in a somewhat unique and innovative way. How entertaining that is is another question, but at least the experience is different.
The Wild Link feature awards low to mediocre cash prizes most of the time, even with expanded reels, but the good news is that the jackpots are also subject to the multiplier. A 1,000x Mega Jackpot is thus a possibility, and you can land more jackpots than one per feature. This is your best chance at cracking the 4,841x potential. The 6th reel in the bonus round is helpful only if the Wild Link feature triggers, and we wouldn’t have minded even higher jackpots.
