Game Review
This game transforms a popular Megaways title into a progressive network jackpot version. It plays out like the original Megaways version, but with a randomly triggered jackpot game added.
The gameplay is smooth, with a solid presentation, but keep in mind that a portion of the RTP is allocated to the 4 progressive jackpots. The potential has been increased in this version, and gambling for extra free spins in the pre-bonus round feature can be nerve-racking. Fans of the game show will probably enjoy the authentic vibe, but there is no point in choosing this version if you’re not chasing the jackpots.
Game Features
The wild can appear on the bottom sliding reel only, and it substitutes for all regular pay symbols to help you form winning combinations. The diamond symbol is worth a lot for 6-oak, while the gemstones pay a lesser amount for the same.
You trigger the Reaction feature on every win, and this removes all winning symbols from the reels. New or existing symbols will then drop down to fill the gaps, and this process goes on indefinitely until you land no new winning combinations.
You trigger the Bonus Round when 3 game logo scatters land anywhere in view, and the Hot Seat Free Spins Gamble pre-feature is up first. Landing more than 3 scatters gives you a better starting point, and you’ll select different answers to climb the free spins ladder. If you pick the wrong answer you’re moved down one rung, and it’s possible to lose the whole feature in this Gamble game that awards a maximum amount of free spins.
Just like in the real game show, you get 3 lifelines for support (randomly assigned per round). You can “Phone a Friend” to get the most likely answer highlighted, and 50-50 removes 2 incorrect answers. Ask the Audience reveals the odds of each answer, and you can always collect whatever free spins amount you’ve got by hitting the ‘Walk Away’ button.
The bonus round comes with a progressive win multiplier that starts at x1, and it increases by +1 per Reaction Win with no upper limit. You can land scatters on the bottom sliding reel only, and you win extra spins when you slide in 3 or 4 scatters, respectively. The jackpot feature can trigger at any time during the base game, and you’ll see one pay symbol randomly selected to become the symbol. A reel set will then spin, and the symbol is collected whenever it appears. The feature ends when you don’t land the symbol, and the number of collected symbols determine which jackpot you win as follows:
- 4-7 symbols award the Mini jackpot (starts at a value).
- 8-11 symbols award the Midi jackpot (starts at a value).
- 12-14 symbols award the Major jackpot (starts at a value).
- 15+ symbols award the Mega jackpot (starts at a value).
The Experience
We land some smaller wins here and there in the base game, and the bonus round starts at a certain time into the video. We got free spins, but we decided to enter the Hot Seat to gamble for more. We managed to get more free spins in the end, and you can see for yourself how we fared by hitting the play button below.
Review Summary
As clever as the whole Hot Seat free spins gamble feature is, mirroring the actual game show as it does, it’s still quite risky. If you get the first answer wrong, the whole bonus round is lost. That can be really frustrating, and getting to the top-tier maximum free spins rung is very difficult. Keep in mind also, that you cannot trigger the Jackpot feature from within the bonus round.
The bonus round itself is pretty standard stuff, but the unlimited progressive win multiplier can dish out payouts. This is very solid, even for a Megaways game, and the base game comes with potential. The jackpots may not be on the level of the network, but you get a better RTP in this series.
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| Reaction wins and sliding reel wilds | RTP excluding the jackpots |
| Hot Seat Free Spins Gamble | |
| Free Spins with unlimited progressive multiplier | |

If you like this game, you should also try:
The original installment comes with all the same features except, of course, the jackpot feature. You can win up to a stake multiplier, and you’ll benefit from a good RTP in this non-jackpot version.
Another installment in the series, and this one sticks out because of the mystery symbols feature. These mystery boxes can land on the 3 middle reels only, and they turn into matching symbols (including wilds and scatters). The bonus round comes with plenty of extra spins, and a multiplier.
A game based on another popular game show also comes with a progressive jackpot. There are tiers to the bonus round, and you can win up to a stake multiplier outside of the jackpot.
