It’s impressive that anyone has even attempted to improve upon a previous game, and it’s even more impressive that they have succeeded beyond expectations. Make no mistake, the 2 games can stand their own ground, but they are related like blood brothers in arms. Not only does Warrior Graveyard come with an even gloomier atmosphere, but both the math model and the features have been rigged for even more explosively volatile action.
The apocalyptic aftermath of an epic battle has seldom been more vividly portrayed in a video slot, and the tense, claustrophobic soundtrack is almost too much to bear at times. The solid bet range remains unchanged, but one less row means the xNudge multiplier can reach a maximum of “only” 3x here. Minor details really, as Warrior Graveyard is a rock solid and innovative creation by any measure.

The set of features in Warrior Graveyard build upon the foundation laid in the predecessor game, but with some significant and innovative upgrades.
A key feature is the stacked xNudge Tombstone Wild that can land on reels 2 to 5. These wilds are 3 symbols in height, and will nudge fully into place whenever you land them partially on the reels. Each nudge increases the wild multiplier with +1, which means that each wild can get up to a 3x multiplier. With maximum luck you can combine 4 stacked wild multipliers, which gives you a 12x boost.
In addition to the xNudge Wilds, you also have the Warrior Attack feature. Whenever you land 3 identical premium symbols either fully or partially anywhere on the reels, they will nudge in place like the wilds. Each nudge will increase the multiplier by +1, and in the end all the stacked symbols move towards the uttermost left for a guaranteed win. This feature can also be combined with xNudge Wilds.
Finally, you have the 2 different bonus rounds. The Graveyard Spins feature is triggered by landing 3, 4 or 5 scatters anywhere in sight, and this gives you 8, 10 or 12 free spins respectively. You will benefit from a progressive multiplier starting at 1x, and increasing by +1 for each Tombstone Wild Nudge. The multiplier will only build here, as it does not reset during the feature.
The superior bonus round in Warrior Graveyard slot goes by the sinister name Death Spins, and you need 6 scatters to trigger it. This gives you 14 free spins, and the progressive multiplier starts at 1x here too. It also increases by +1 for each Wild nudge like in the other feature, but the big difference is that the stacked wilds become sticky for the duration of the feature.
You cannot retrigger any of the free spin rounds, but each new scatter you land will add 1 extra spin to your tally. You can, depending on your jurisdiction, opt to buy the bonus round. The Graveyard spins will cost you 72x your stake, while the Death Spins will set you back 666x your stake (use this feature at your own risk, and don’t blame us if it “goes to hell”).

Review Summary
Warrior Graveyard is clearly following in the footsteps of a hard-hitting predecessor, but with an even darker theme this time. We are truly impressed by this developer's ability to churn out high-quality games lately, and they have basically done everything right with this follow-up title. The base game comes with even better, upgraded features. The math model is even more powerful, with a higher potential and a slightly higher default max RTP.
You still need to beware of RTP ranges though, as the returns can be dropped. NoLimit has also included 2 different bonus rounds here, one more volatile and insane than the other. The 666x price tag on the Death Spins feature is a strong indicator of just how lucrative the top tier bonus round can be, but triggering either of the bonus rounds organically might take you a while.
