Our Verdict
Ultimate Fire Link Rue Royale took us to New Orleans, Louisiana, just like Ultimate Fire Link Cash Falls Olvera Street took us to LA. This game was released earlier in 2024 (February) and came with a twist I was expecting to find in Rue Royale as well - Cash Falls. I must admit that it took my attention!
If you are reading this review because of it, don't worry, in September, Ultimate Fire Link Cash Falls China Street was released. This is the second installment with this modifier, and I'm confident it won't be the last. But back to the Rue Royale adventure: a nice slot game with easy to trigger bonuses!
It utilizes the same basic mechanics with 50 lines but offers no base game modifiers, and that is a pity. Seasoned players are well aware of the capacity, and I'm surprised by the plain main game. Indeed, 2 bonus minigames is more than generous, but they don't always pay enough to cover the balance gaps.
Hopefully, the series will be soon enhanced in that direction, and I can't wait to test the newest, 10th game from the series. It's expected in December and is the 2nd Gold edition installment - Golden Fire Link Buchae Blossom. So, finally, I put the Rue Royale trip somewhere in the middle due to the slightly low RTP and lack of random features.
