The King in this game wears shining armor, and he looks like the romantic type as well. The reels are filled with both dragons and what seems to be The Knight King’s love interest, and the cartoon style visuals are neatly done. This release cannot escape coming across as a tad generic though, which is sometimes the case with this highly productive developer.

You can look forward to the random Money Prize symbol feature in the base game, as a random symbol is chosen to land with instant cash prizes. Worry not, as you don’t even need a collect symbol to win the prizes, like is so often the case. It’s not that the game is bad in any particular way, it’s just that you can immediately sense that not a lot of heart and soul was poured into this thing. It rolls off the assembly line like a slick new car, but it feels mass produced and generic all the way.

That being said, The Knight King takes you on a decent medieval adventure, and you get a taste of the Money Symbol feature also in the base game. It’s more of a teaser of what’s to come than anything else, and it’s definitely game on when the bonus round triggers. The chosen symbol can be upgraded to land you pretty solid payouts after a while, and even from the get-go if you’re lucky. The 5,000x potential is standard for these days, and it comes with a decent hit rate of 1 in 11,961,722 spins.
