We’re not quite sure if you still remember the popular Ted bear from the Ted movies, but the creators seem to have fond memories of him. After all, they decided to create a game called Ted Cash and Lock, and it’s a very thematic affair filled with plenty of interesting gameplay features. It offers 5 reels, 4 rows and 20 paylines, and we’ll give you all the info that we have about it in this review!

Audiovisually, Ted Cash and Lock ensures that you’ll get a pleasant experience by building on the Ted movies and allowing you to come back to your memories of them. Many of the major characters are included, for one, and we do appreciate that. The game’s overall production values, however, are only slightly above average, and it’s easy to feel that this was a bit of a side-project.

Looking at the game’s math model, we can tell you that it comes with a medium-high volatility level, though there’s no official info about the actual jackpot. Everyone can jump in, then, as the betting range runs from as little as £0.10 to as much as £100 per spin. Unfortunately, the version of the game that we got to play for this review had a theoretical RTP of just 93.09%, which is an awful value no matter how you look at it. There is a chance that better versions will surface eventually, but we naturally can’t guarantee that.

There are 8 pay symbols in Ted Cash and Lock, and it’s very much possible to divide them evenly into 4 low pays and 4 high pays. For the former, there are card ranks from Jacks to Aces, and these pay up to 4x your bet for a full combination of five matching symbols. For the latter, meanwhile, there are drinks, ducks, female characters, and logos. Logos are worth the most, paying out 20x your bet for a full set.

In addition to all the pay symbols, there are also Wilds, Ted Scatters and Thunder Buddies Bonus symbols. Wilds are entirely straightforward here, though they do have their own payout values. Ted Scatters and Thunder Buddies Bonus symbols, meanwhile, are there to trigger the slot’s gameplay features.

Let’s now take a look at all the gameplay features Ted Cash and Lock comes with. During any spin, you can get Ted himself to appear at random and give you either a bunch of special symbols or re-arrange the symbols on the board in a way that will result in a winning combo.

At the end of the day, Ted Cash and Lock is a fun experience that will please all fans of the Ted movies and that is full of engaging gameplay features. Its production values are by no means excellent, but they certainly get the job done. The slot’s big minus, though, is its seriously disappointing theoretical RTP of 93.09%. If a better version available at some point, we’ll be glad to recommend it. With such an RTP, however, we can recommend Ted Cash and Lock only to the biggest Ted fans out there.
