Each character has 3 lives, respawning on the next symbol drop as long as they have lives left. The character keeps any tank booster he collected before being removed, and tank booster explosions do not remove wilds, symbols.

and are special symbols that only activate when characters are stuck and there are no Tank Boosters to activate. The explodes, removing surrounding pay symbols and increasing the win multiplier by +1. The also explodes to remove pay symbols, expanding the grid size by 1 step.
The game also features Boom explosions caused by character clusters. When 3 characters collide without being able to move, a Small Boom occurs, removing surrounding pay symbols and characters. A 4-character collision triggers a Big Boom, doing the same while also expanding the grid by 1 step.
Kill Count
If a character loses all 3 lives within the same cascading sequence, it does not respawn and symbols of its color do not appear. However, the character will respawn with 3 new lives for the next round.
Wilds And Symbols
The Wild nudges downwards until it hits a special symbol, increasing the win multiplier by +1 per nudge. The starting multiplier is x2 if no win multiplier is present when the Wild lands. The symbol turns into a wild after splitting symbols vertically or horizontally, while also doubling the value of any affected multiplier.
Grid Expansion
Each time a rocket hits, a big boom triggers, or a barrel bomb explodes, the grid expands by +1 step. The grid can expand in different ways depending on the vertical or horizontal expansion, but essentially it can expand in steps from size 6x6 to 9x9. Our Verdict
It's not every day we see borrowing mechanics so blatantly, but Tanked is essentially a turbocharged version of a win system. Rumor has it a former designer had a hand in this, and while imitation might be the sincerest form of flattery, it's still rare to see taking such direct inspiration. However, they've more than earned the right to borrow a bit, having revolutionized the slot world with so many unique creations.
Frankly, I'm glad they "borrowed" this mechanic. It means we get to enjoy with a signature math model and higher RTP. Tanked gameis a superbly executed game with charming character design, a dynamic expanding grid, and explosive modifiers that keep the action intense. They've taken the popular concept and cranked it up with heavy weaponry and 3 high-octane bonus rounds.
