We weren’t too impressed by their Megaways debut release, to be honest, and it expectedly didn’t make much of a splash either. Fair enough, it was their first attempt with the licensed engine after all, but there is no excuse for simply making a reskin in their next attempt. Sweet Rush Megaways is the same game, albeit with a more original and cute sweets and aliens theme, and it’s simpler than most Megaways installments.

You don’t get Cascading Wins for one, and the only base game feature outside of the dynamic reels engine are the multiplier wilds. These come with values up to x3, and both regular wilds and multiplier wilds become sticky in the bonus round. There is nothing else going on in this game, like in the original, but you can double your bonus round chances via the Ante Bet feature. Players can also purchase the bonus round.

The premium symbols pay between 0.8 to 10 x your stake for 6 of a kind wins, and the Wild symbol steps in for pay symbols to help complete wins. It comes with random multipliers of x1, x2, or x3, and other than that it holds no pay value of its own. It can appear on reels 2, 3, 4, and 5 only, and all wild multipliers that are part of the same win are applied to boost that win.

They like to keep their Megaways releases simple it seems, and Sweet Rush Megaways is basically a reskin of their themed Megaways debut. It comes with cute alien characters, and a chef is by your side at all times. Nothing much happens in the base game in terms of features though, but you get the dynamic grid experience with multiplier wilds sprinkled in for good measure.

Turning on the Chance x2 Feature might be a good idea since it doubles your bonus round chances, and paying 50 % extra isn’t too shabby for an ante bet feature like this. The multiplier wilds become sticky in the bonus round, which increases your likelihood of closing in on the potential. We are a bit disappointed that they would simply release a reskin of their rather unmemorable Megaways debut though, instead of trying to improve things and make a better game this time.
