The developer is trying to be unique and stand out. However, a unique expression does not equal a successful and solid game. When we first laid eyes on this game, we were sure the developer had come up with some kind of clone, but to their credit, this is not the case at all.
The only thing gracing the base game in terms of features is Cascading Wins and a wild. However, it does not expand, nor does it produce respins. The main attraction here, if we can call it that, is something akin to a ‘double or nothing’ gamble feature. Pick your character, and progress along the multiplier trail that goes up to 32x. If you lose a single duel however, it’s back to the base game with nothing to show for.
Slot Features
Central to the action is the Cascading Wins feature, and experienced players already know how that works. Winning symbols are removed from the reels, and a fresh batch of symbols drop down to fill the gaps. This process repeats as long as you keep landing winning combos.
To help you out in that regard, you have the question mark wild symbol. It can land on all the reels, and it will step in for all regular pay symbols to help you form winning combos. The wild symbol is not worth anything on its own however, but it usually comes in handy when it lands.
Whenever you land a special 2x scroll, you trigger the Multiplier Risk Bonus Game. A multiplier trail starting at 2x appears above 2 sets of Character Cards. The multiplier trail goes from 2x to 4x, 8x, 16x and 32x, and you’ll pick either the female or male character.
The 2 character cards will then duke it out in a brief duel, and if your character wins you progress up the multiplier trail. You can cash out at any time, including even before the feature starts, and if your character loses all your winnings are lost.
The Spins Experience
After some initial smaller wins, we landed the 2x scroll symbol. We went with the male character, and you can see how it all played out. The feature didn’t last all that long, but we landed some okay base game wins in the aftermath.
Review Summary
At least it is not a clone, despite the similarities in the title and the theme, but it’s not a very convincing game either. The sparsely dressed blonde floating up and down in accordance with the dreamy soundtrack serves no purpose except ornaments. She’s not even the female on the character card, but we digress.
It’s not often you see a slot where the headliner feature is the resemblance of a simple ‘double or nothing’ gamble game. That’s usually a side-bet that many prefer not to touch. The duel consists of the female and male card simply bumping into each other, and why would a ripped dude fight a woman anyway. She hardly looks like an amazon. The developer is trying too hard to be unique with this release, and the whole thing falls flat before even getting off the ground.
