This game takes you into a futuristic, steampunk landscape, and the eccentric Inventor has a cyborg girlfriend and a robot assistant you’ll see on the reels. The attention to detail is impressive in this game, and fluffy cotton-ball clouds and the occasional blimp can be seen passing by the massive window behind in the background.
What will immediately catch your attention however, is the horizontal ‘assembly line’ Prize Reel on top of the regular reel set. New special symbols keep reeling in to tease you, but don’t expect to see a lot of them in action during base game play. A single modifier here and there will seldom make a huge dent. However, when they combine during the bonus round, sparks will fly for sure.
Spin-vention Features
Above the regular reels you’ll see the horizontal Prize Line, where different modifier symbols move from right to left on each new spin. You need to land the glowing cube wild to benefit from the Prize Line symbols. The cube will move up to grab whatever modifier symbol is present above the relevant reel, and you can win cash prizes between 2x and 100x, random wilds, wild reels and multipliers up to 5x.
The free spins Bonus Round is triggered whenever an arrow-globe thingy appears on the Prize Line above a glowing cube wild. You get the same number of free spins as shown inside the globe, and then the camera moves below deck to a different reel set.
Now the horizontal Prize Line sits below the regular reels, but it comes with the same special modifying symbols as in the base game. The big difference is that it’s a lot easier to land the triggering wild cube during the bonus round. In fact, you can expect up to several wild cubes on almost every free spin. Review Summary
This is a nice-looking steampunk game. The assembly line of prizes above the regular reel set is a constant reminder of what you can look forward to, and they sprinkle the base game with a variety of modifiers to spice things up a bit. Don’t expect too much action from the special symbols during regular play though, as this is a highly volatile game after all.
The bonus round is where this game really lets its hair down, as you’ll suddenly go from 1 modifier once in a blue moon to 1-3 on almost every spin. Of course, the cash prize symbols will many times deliver only measly wins. However, both wild modifiers, and not least the multiplier symbol, can conspire to produce some pretty solid payouts.
