CASINOS WITH Slingo Fire and Ice in Great Britain

Fire and Ice Game Review
Most experienced punters are familiar with the idea of hot and cold games, and it seems only natural that a game concept that merges the best from both bingo and slots, also manages to combine both hot and cold into the same release. Fire and Ice plays out on a dual 5x5 grid set, with one Fire Grid and one Ice Grid divided by the 1x5 vertically stacked slot reel situated smack in the middle.
The name of the game is completing slingos, as usual, and climbing the Fire Slingo Ladder awards multipliers that boost the Cash Prizes on the Ice Ladder up to 1,000x for a Full House. In addition, you can convert slot positions into Jackpot positions by completing double horizontal slingos across the same row, and 5 jackpots worth 1,000x (Ice) or 250x (Fire) are up for grabs each round. We found this to be a refreshingly innovative installment, and it’s well worth checking out.
Fire and Ice Features
You get 10 spins per round, with the possibility of paid extra spins as usual, and fire symbols mark off corresponding numbers of the Fire Grid, while ice symbols mark off numbers on the Ice Grid. Mixed symbols (both fire and ice) mark off numbers on both grids.
The Fire Pay Ladder comes with multiplier values of x2 to x10 (above 2 blanks you need to mark off first), and these multipliers increase the cash values on the Ice Pay Ladder on the opposite side. You only win actual cash prizes by moving up the Ice Ladder in other words, and here are the special symbols you can expect:
- Fire Wild - mark off any number on the same row of the Fire grid.
- Ice Wild - mark off any number on the same row of the Ice grid.
- Mixed Wild - mark off any number on the same row of both grids.
- Free Spin - adds another spin to the tally seen above the slot column.
- Blocker - does nothing but occupy a symbol position.
When you’ve completed a so-called double slingo, which means a horizontal slingo across the same Fire and Ice row, the corresponding slot reel position in the middle turns into a Jackpot position for all future spins. The blocker symbol is most likely to hit, which means you didn’t win the jackpot, but you can also land either the Fire or the Ice jackpots:
- Fire Jackpot (orange fire gemstone) - pays 250x your stake.
- Ice Jackpot (blue ice gemstone) - pays 1,000x your stake.
The jackpot gem becomes sticky if you land it, and you can thus win up to 5 jackpots per round.
Finally, you can take advantage of the Paid Extra Spins feature, once your initial spins have played out. You can set a limit for this before the round starts, and each extra spin comes with an individually calculated price for both the Fire and the Ice grid. With optimal strategy, the extra spins feature has an RTP of 95.05 %.
The 200 Spins Fire and Ice Experience
You get to see a full game round with plenty of paid extra spins in our 5-minute highlights video, and we took it all the way by filling both the Fire and the Ice grid to the max. This landed us a solid 1,000x payout, but we spent 418x our stake to get there. Whether or not we also landed a jackpot, you’ll have to see for yourself by hitting the play button below.
Review Summary
Fire and Ice sticks out not only because of the dual grid setup, but also because of the way you can win the 2 jackpots. This is one of the most exciting and fun slingo games we’ve tried so far actually, and finally you have a slingo release with a decent 6,000x potential. This would require no less than 5 Ice Jackpots, as well as a double Full House, so don’t expect to get even close without plenty of paid extra spins.
Still, the potential is more solid than usual, and the dual grid gameplay is more entertaining as well. It’s far more motivating to pay for extra spins when you have at least 1 jackpot position going, and the fire and ice theme is pretty much perfect for this game. We’re happy to see that the slingo format can still be developed and expanded upon, as we were afraid Originals had stagnated a bit in their slot converting efforts.

If you appreciate Fire and Ice you should also try:
- is a popular slingo release that’s based on the highly popular classic by the same name, and it’s all about completing slingos to climb the prize ladder and win the Toybox Pick bonus game. The volatility is medium to high, and you can win up to 2,500x your stake.
- is a volatile and fruity slingo release with a 5x3 slot setup that’s somewhat unusual for this hybrid concept. You can win up to 500x your stake from the slot alone, and you also win slingo prizes from the prize ladder that goes up to 500x your stake for a full house.
- is a slot/bingo hybrid release in the popular cash fish genre, and you can reel in fish prizes up to 1,000x your stake. Completed slingos turn into cash fish, and a full house pays 200x your stake. As usual, you have special symbols to help you out as well.
