Sisters of the Sun Review
The moon reflects sunlight, so the Sun God-centric sister slot is naturally brighter. Sisters of the Sun is similar to the original, but it's not a copy. The ancient Egypt theme is well-done, and the cutesy factor of the predecessor is gone.
Centered around sister deities, Sekhmet, Hathor, and Bastet, you'll find a highly volatile grid slot with plenty of modifiers and features. Cascading wins generate wilds, but winning combos above a random 5-symbol Eye of Ra pattern increase the multiplier. This is easier in the bonus round, but triggering the feature can be tricky.
Sisters of the Sun Slot Features
The 3 sister deities, Bastet, Hathor, and Sekhmet, are the premium symbols, paying 10x your stake for 5 in a cluster. These symbols also pay mixed, up to 5x your stake for a combination of 5 different sisters. The dual snake wild substitutes for all pay symbols and is worth 30x your stake for 5 in a cluster.
Whenever you land a winning combo, the Cascading mechanic is triggered, removing all winning symbols from the grid. New and existing symbols drop to fill the gaps, repeating as long as you keep winning.
When 3 symbols are removed, a wild is generated in the empty middle position. Clearing the whole grid wins a 50x bonus prize. This payout doesn't occur in the Sisterhood feature (see below) but is subject to the active multiplier.
You'll see 5 random grid positions marked by the Eye of Ra per spin, and the progressive win multiplier increases by +1 for every win on a marked position. The win multiplier resets between spins during base game play.
The Goddess Power features trigger randomly on non-winning spins. Here's an overview:
- Sekhmet - transform one symbol type into another.
- Hathor - adds 1 or 2 wilds randomly to the grid.
- Bastet - removes 2 symbols types from the grid.
Only 1 glowing Scroll scatter is needed to trigger the Sisterhood feature. This awards 1 free spin with a reset win multiplier, and the 3 deity sisters award their modifier on non-winning symbol drops until all 3 have played out. Clearing the grid completely during the feature triggers the Bonus Round.
You then choose between Sekhmet, Hathor, or Bastet, awarding 4, 5, or 8 initial free spins, respectively. The win multiplier from the Sisterhood feature carries over and doesn't reset between free spins. The fewer spins you choose, the higher the potential risk/reward, and the chosen Goddess modifier triggers on every non-winning spin.
You get 10 marked Eye of Ra positions instead of 5 during the feature, making it easier to increase the non-resetting win multiplier. You can win extra spins, and the number of spins per scatter is determined by the Goddess: Sekhmet, Hathor, and Bastet award +4, +3, or +2 extra spins per scatter, respectively, up to 150.

Review Summary
Sisters of the Sun is a parallel, more volatile version. The two games are similar, but this isn't a simple reskin. The pink anime princesses are replaced by deity sisters. Visually, this game is more mature, and the volatility is extreme.
The biggest challenge is triggering the bonus round, needing the Sisterhood feature first. Getting the progressive multiplier going is also harder due to the Eye of Ra pattern system, but it can be rewarding. The 15,000x potential is significant.
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| Cascading wins wild generation | Beware of adjustable RTP ranges |
| Eye of Ra pattern progressive multiplier | |
| 3 random Goddess Power modifiers | |
| 3 FS options w/ non-resetting multiplier | |
| Win up to 15,000x your stake |
If you enjoy Sisters of the Sun Slot you should also try:
A similar game comes with the same ‘girl power’ modifiers on random non-winning spins, but the progressive win multiplier is capped. Clearing the grid to trigger the feature can happen at any time, and you can win up to a certain amount times your stake.
Another similar game is a hexagonal cluster pays grid slot with a more forgiving medium volatility. Consecutive cascading wins fill the Ring meter, and reaching the gold level can trigger a grid full of matching symbols. There are 3 randomly triggered features, and you can win up to a certain amount times your stake.
Another alternative is the masculine counterpart to the “pretty in pink” version. All the features are the same, and so is the math model. This is a good option if you’re not in the mood for the oestrogen overload you get in the original.
