Many similar series made by the same developer tend to become predictable, something that has been avoided with this strategy. Sherlock and Moriarty WowPot is a take on the classic story about the legendary London detective, this time up against the mastermind known as Professor James Moriarty.
The stats are not particularly impressive in this game. The RTP of 92.1 % is low. The single spin max win is only 200x your stake, but can increase via bonus round multipliers. The features are mostly there to keep you afloat as you chase the jackpot. The WowPot could drop any day now if you want to try your luck.
Sherlock and Moriarty WowPot Features
Sherlock himself is the highest value symbol, awarding 10x your stake for 5 on a payline. This is the same amount you win when landing 5 wilds on a payline, and wilds will also step in for all regular pay symbols to help you form winning combos.
When you land 4, or fewer, question mark Mystery Symbols in the base game, they all turn into the same randomly selected pay symbol. If you land 5 or more however, you trigger the Mystery Respins feature.
The triggering 5+ Mystery Symbols, as well as any wilds present, will now become sticky. The remaining positions spin again, and any wilds and/or mystery symbols you land will also become sticky. This awards another respin. You get a final respin when nothing sticky lands, and this is where all mystery symbols transform into a random matching symbol.
The scatter symbol is dedicated to Moriarty, and you need to land 3 of him on a base game spin to win 10 free spins. You also get 2 extra spins per extra scatter on top of the minimum of 3. A triple question mark symbol unique to the bonus round now comes into play, and it will trigger 1 of 3 features whenever it lands:
- Sticky Wild – adds a wild that remains sticky for the whole bonus round.
- +1 Multiplier – increases the global multiplier with +1.
- +Spins – awards 1, 2 or 3 extra free spins.
The main attraction in this game is the WowPot Jackpot feature. The contribution to the WowPot series is rich in features, but you pay for this with somewhat weaker stats than most previous installments. The main attraction will always be the potentially life-changing WowPot.
The base game, as well as the bonus round, offers some decently entertaining features, but you can win only up to 200x at the most on a single spin with no multiplier action. Don’t expect massive payouts outside of the jackpot wheel. Also keep in mind that chasing the WowPot can be a costly affair, since the 92.1 % RTP is among the lowest in the series.
