The theme of Santa’s Linking combines a Christmas atmosphere with a classic fruit slot, but the result isn’t particularly good or interesting. The production values of Santa’s Liking are definitely below average, and the game just isn’t easy on the eyes.

The mathematical model of Santa Linking has a medium volatility level, and its jackpot is definitely higher than 500x your bet. We can tell you, though, that you can jump in for bets between £0.10 and £100 per spin. Unfortunately, the slot’s theoretical RTP is just 95%, which is below the industry average.

Santa Linking Slot Features

There are 7 pay symbols in Santa Linking, and they are hardly interesting. You can look forward to low pays with cherries and plums, which pay 2x your bet for a full combination. Then, there are four card rank symbols, which pay up to 10x your bet per combination. Finally, there are Jackpot symbols, which are worth 25x your bet for a full set.

Aside from all those pay symbols, there are also Wilds and Coin symbols. Wilds can appear anywhere on the playing field, and they can substitute for any of the pay symbols in order to complete winning combinations.

Kicking off the gameplay, we have the Santa King feature, which you can trigger by lighting up all 5 reels. That’s completely random, of course, and the actual feature has the form of a minigame that will let you spin special reels for all sorts of payouts. It feels fresh, and we certainly wouldn’t mind seeing this type of feature more often.

Coin symbols can have various values from 1x to 25x, and you’ll trigger the Santa Linking feature by finding 6 or more of them in view. This feature is, in essence, a Hold and Win feature of sorts that will keep giving you respins for as long as you keep getting new Coin symbols. If you get a reel full of Coin symbols, you’ll get them collected by Santa King himself, and you’ll get a chance to spin his reels in that case (just like in the Santa King feature).

And, to round things off, there’s also the Gamble feature that allows you to risk your wins for extra cash prizes and even feature triggers.

Review Summary

All in all, Santa Linking is a rather strange online slot. On one hand, it offers great gameplay features that have quite a few surprises in store. On the other hand, the game’s audiovisual presentation is rather poor, and so is its math model.
