When we played the original game, we most certainly didn’t think that it would get any sort of a follow up. And yet, here we are with a game called Roman Legion Xtreme, which does sound rather interesting on paper. And yet, is it really like that? And should you give it a go? Well, let’s first examine the game’s playing field. It consists of two reel sets placed right next to each other, but there are only 20 paylines in total.

The graphics of Roman Legion Xtreme are nothing to write home about, either. The theme is all about the famous Roman legions, and there are some thematic symbols in the mix, but it’s all rather rough, and the card symbols look incredibly out of place.

The mathematical model of Roman Legion Xtreme then comes with a medium volatility level, but there’s no reliable info about the actual max win. You can play for many different stakes, though, from £0.10 to £100 per spin. The slot’s theoretical RTP is 96.10%, which is slightly above average and fine.

Honestly, we don’t know why Roman Legion Xtreme exists, as its reel setting is just an unwieldy gimmick that feels more like a bug than a feature. The game’s presentation is also rather outdated by current standards, but that’s only logical given that the actual graphics come from 2017. They weren’t good even back then, though, of that we can assure you. So yeah, feel free to skip this release - it really isn’t worth the bother.
