Sea Riches Evaluation
This game comes from a smaller studio, but they are trying to make a name for themselves with their consistent releases. Sea Riches is one of their simpler games, but it does have a couple of interesting features. We’ll go over all of them in this game review, but we have to start by telling you that the entire thing takes place across 5 reels, 3 rows and 5 winlines.
The theme of Sea Riches is all about diving in to see some fascinating sea creatures, and we simply have to appreciate the symbol designs here. All the creatures look brilliant, and it’s clear that the team knew what it was doing during the design stage.
There isn’t much info available about the game’s mathematical model, but we can tell you that you can enjoy it for stakes between £0.10 and £35 per spin, which should satisfy pretty much everyone. Unfortunately, we can also tell you that the game’s theoretical RTP clocks in at just 95%, which is one percent below the current industry average and not ideal.
Sea Riches Game Features
The paytable of Sea Riches offers a set of 10 pay symbols, which are divided into 4 low pays, 3 mid pays, and 4 high pays. For low pays, there are your usual card ranks from Jacks to Aces, while the game’s mid pays show crabs, star fish, and seahorses. Finally, all four high pays pay out even in sets of two, and you can look forward to two kinds of fish, jellyfish, and even turtles. Turtles are the top-paying symbols, and you’ll get 6x your bet even for a set of just two. If you find a five-of-a-kind combination of turtles, on the other hand, you’ll walk away with a juicy 256x payout.
For special symbols, there are Octopus Wilds that can substitute for any of the pay symbols in order to complete winning combinations. They are Expanding, too, which means that they can expand to cover an entire reel instead of just a single position.
The only bonus feature of Sea Riches is called the Multiplier feature, and it comes into play whenever you fill the first 3, 4, or 5 reels with Jacks, Queens, Kings, or Aces. If that happens, you’ll get a global win multiplier of 3x, 4x, or 5x, respectively. It’s a nice boost, but it unfortunately doesn’t appear all that often.
Review Summary
Sea Riches might be a simple game, but we nonetheless like its visuals, and we think that it’s fine for what it is. We don’t enjoy its subpar RTP, true, but you can enjoy it for a session or two without much harm.
| Advantages | Disadvantages |
|---|---|
| Excellent visual design | Pretty shallow |
| Expanding Wilds | Subpar 95% RTP |
