Rabbit Garden Review
We have seen farm slots before, but we could immediately sense that we were in for something special with Rabbit Garden. The cartoonish farm presentation cannot really take credit for this notion, as there is nothing too special about it. It’s well done, of course, but what stuck out from the get-go was the clever Coin Collected mechanic, and also how it’s unleashed in the base game.
Rabbits steal carrots from a 5-tier meter, and this spreads up to 12 Coins in random patterns across the 7x7 Cluster Pays grid. You can land single coin prizes up to a solid 1,000x your stake, but they must be adjacent to cluster wins to pay. The coins are released almost all the time, and the bonus round builds up to a climactic final spin as you get more and more coins released per free spin. The 10,000x potential is unusually solid as well, and Rabbit Garden is well worth a visit or ten.
Rabbit Garden Slot Features
You get a symbol drop of 49 symbols per round, and you win by landing 5 to 15+ matching symbols in a cluster anywhere on the 7x7 grid. The minimum wins pay between 0.2 and 1 x your stake, while the 15+ cluster wins award between 20 and 150 x your stake. The Tumble mechanic removes all winning symbols from the grid, and new and/or existing symbols drop down to fill the gaps. This process repeats as long as you keep winning, and there are no wild symbols in this game.
You’ll see a Coin Meter of sorts on the right-hand side, and rabbits will sometimes appear to release coins from this meter by stealing a carrot. The meter comes with 5 tiers, and the tiers release between 4 and 12 coins from bottom to top. The coins are placed in random patterns on the grid, and they come with cash values of 1x-3x, 5x, 10x, 15x, 25x, 50x, 100x, 250x, 500x, or 1,000x your stake. You win only the prizes from coins that are adjacent to cluster wins.
You need 4, 5, 6, or 7 carrot scatters in the same tumble sequence to trigger the Bonus Round, and this awards a scatter win of 2x, 5x, 20x, or 100x your stake up front, respectively. You get 5 free spins no matter the amount of triggering scatters, and Coins are guaranteed to be unleashed per free spin. This happens progressively from the bottom tier to the top, which means that you get a climactic 12 coins release on the 5th and final free spin.
All winning symbols are collected in the bonus round, and these are added as +1 points in the meter seen on the left. Collected coins add +3 points to the meter, and a full meter retriggers the bonus round with 5 new free spins. The coin release system works the same, but each retrigger levels up the win multiplier. There are 4 levels, and these come with a multiplier of x2, x3, x5, and x10, respectively. Points are not collected after you reach the highest level.
Finally, non-UK players, and anyone eligible, can take advantage of the Bonus Buy option. This will set you back 100x your stake, and you are then guaranteed at least 4 triggering scatters on the spin that follows. The top-tier RTP increases slightly, to 96.08 %, when you purchase the bonus round. The bonus round comes with an organic hit rate of 1 in 405.5 spins.
The 200 Spins Rabbit Garden Slot Experience
You get to see plenty of coins being released in the base game first, although it didn’t really lead to anything significant in terms of winnings. We purchase the bonus round at 0:55 into the 2:45-minute highlights video, and you can check it all out for yourself by hitting the play button below.
Review Summary
Once in a while something out of the ordinary comes up, and you can immediately sense how much you appreciate the effort. Rabbit Garden is definitely such a release, and it demonstrates that it doesn’t take all that much to create something that comes across as both unique and highly entertaining. The idyllic farm presentation is charming, with the rabbits literally stealing the show in all stages of the game.
They release the Coin symbols on a regular basis in the base game, but you can expect plenty of dead spins even with coins present. Progressing up the coin tiers in the bonus round is highly enjoyable as well, and not least when you manage to retrigger the feature a few times. The 10,000x potential is twice the usual max win, and it comes with a decent hit rate of 1 in 7.57m spins. We give Rabbit Garden both thumbs up, and we’re sure there will be follow-ups if it becomes a success.
