Queens of Ra Power Combo Review
Several different developers have tried their luck with the Power Combo system. Queens of Ra Power Combo comes with a familiar ancient Egypt theme that’s well-made, and the base game is simple. You get wilds to help you out, but what you really want is to combine powers in the Link&Win feature.
This happens randomly via scatter collection, and there are 3 different powers you can bring with you into the bonus round. The Power Combo system allows you to combine 2 or all 3 powers into the same feature, and this is your best chance of closing in on the 15,000x potential. The math model has been beefed up a bit in other words, and Queens of Ra Power Combo is arguably the best installment in the series to date.
Queens of Ra Power Combo Slot Features
The premium symbols, consisting of ornaments depicting a jackal head, Horus eye, flower, ankh cross, and a scarab as the top-tier symbol, pay between 2 and 5 x your stake for 5 of a kind wins. The blazing temple Wild can appear on the 3 middle reels to help you out, as it steps in for any pay symbol to complete and/or improve wins.
The Link&Win feature triggers at random times when at least one queen scatter is collected, and the triggering scatter (or scatters) determine what kind of feature you get. There are 3 different kinds in Queens of Ra Power Combo Slot, and you can combine 2 or all 3 of them into one and the same Link&Win feature. Below is an overview:
- The Green Scatter - can get you the Twin Power Link&Win feature, and it comes with a dual 5x3 grid.
- The Red Scatter - can award the Jackpot Power Link&Win feature, and it comes with a jackpot collection system for prizes of 10x, 100x, or 5,000x your stake.
- The Blue Scatter - can trigger the Collection Power Link&Win feature. All previously landed scarab coin prizes are re-collected for each new coin that lands.
Each Link&Win feature, or combination of features, starts you off with an empty grid where only the triggering scatter (or scatters) are sticky as a scarab coin. The Scarab Coins come with values between 0.5x and 20x your stake, and you start with 3 spins.
Landing only blanks removes one spin from the tally, but it resets each time you land a new sticky scarab coin of any kind. Filling the grid with scarab coins in any of the features awards all 3 jackpot prizes, and these are the Mini, Major, and Mega jackpots worth 10x, 100x, and 5,000x your stake.
The Queens of Ra Power Combo Bonus Buy feature is available in some jurisdictions. If eligible, you can combine any of the Link&Win features as you see fit, or buy a single feature, or wrap all 3 into the same feature. The price range is 23 to 117 x your stake.

Review Summary
We see Link&Win features all the time these days, or similar hold and win style features of different names, and without anything extra it gets boring rather quickly. The Power Combo system is therefore a breath of fresh air, even though we’ve seen it implemented in different ways more than a few times already. The ancient Egypt theme is decently done, although hardly super original, but we still enjoyed our session with Queens of Ra Power Combo slot.
These kinds of games are most fun when you get to experiment with combining features, and it’s therefore unfortunate that the bonus buy option is not available in all jurisdictions. Grinding along in the base game to try to trigger a combo feature can take a while, and nothing too exciting goes on there anyway. Being able to win the jackpots in all 3 Link&Win features is appreciated, and the 15,000x potential is solid as well. Queens of Ra Power Combo is well worth checking out, and it’s the best installment so far in our opinion.
