Punk Toilet Review

No other developer could make a graffiti-infused public toilet seem cool and rebellious like has done in this highly anticipated sequel, but then again, no other developer would even go there. Punk Toilet comes with similar punked up versions of famous people as the first game, and if you ever dreamed of seeing a mohawk Einstein or Churchill take a leak or dump, this is your big chance.

Character symbols expand to use the 3 middle reel urinals on a regular basis in the base game, and they turn into a hybrid that’s part multiplier premium symbol and part wild. The Glory Door toilet doesn’t open quite so often, but when it does you’ll benefit from 1 of 2 modifiers with different sub-modifiers. As in the original release, you get 2 bonus round tiers (P!$$ or $h!t Spins), but the 33,333x potential has been doubled and then some.

Punk Toilet Slot Features

The 6 premium character symbols pay between 2.5 and 5 x your stake for 5-oak wins, and you also have a regular wild symbol that steps in for any pay symbol to help complete winning combinations. The wild holds no value of its own, and there are plenty of features to cover.

There is a locked urinal position at the bottom of reels 2, 3 and 4, and you trigger the Urinal feature when 1 or 2 scatters land on these reels. You will then see an expanded version of a random character symbol (anyone except Haw-King) taking a leak, and the triggering scatter turns into a beer in the character’s hand. This gives you 1 wild position, with 2 character positions below, and the character symbol comes with an x2 or x3 multiplier.

The 3 lowest position on reel 5 makes up the toilet Glory Door, and landing the Loo symbol above the Glory Door opens it up to reveal 1 of 2 features. You can get the top-tier Haw-King symbol stacked 3 positions in height, and this turns all other character symbols into the Haw-King symbol. You can also get a special modifier symbol, in addition to a random 2-positions high character. This doubles the size of all matching character symbols in view, and the modifier symbols are as follows:

• The regular wild.
• xSplit - splits all pay symbols on the same row on reels 1-4, and turns into a 2-positions high wild. All xWays symbols are also split, if present.
• xMega Split - splits all present pay symbols on reels 1-4, and turns into a 2-positions high wild.

The xWays symbol can appear on reels 2, 3 and 4 only, and it can pack between 2 to 6 matching symbols when it lands. It can also reveal wild symbols, and all present xWays symbols always reveal the same matching symbol.

The ‘P!$$ Spins’ bonus round triggers when you land 3 scatters, and this awards 6 free spins. You get expanding character symbols from the 3 middle reel urinals on each spin, and each scatter that lands above the urinals increases the character symbol multiplier by +1. This multiplier multiplies the random multiplier the expanded character symbols come with by default, and it doesn’t reset. The Loo symbol will appear 1 in 27 features on average, and it opens the Glory Door. This gives you +2 extra spins, and upgrades the feature to $h!t Spins.

The ‘$h!t Spins’ bonus round also triggers when you land 3 scatters and 1 Loo symbol in the base game, and this gives you 8 free spins. The feature plays out similar to the P!$$ Spins round, but the Loo symbol becomes sticky so the Glory Door opens on each spin. This feature has an organic hit rate of 1 in 13,000 spins from the base game, while the P!$$ Spins feature triggers once every 207 base game spins on average.

Finally, non-UK players, and anyone eligible, can click the yellow star to get into the Bonus Buy menu. The P!$$ Spins feature (RTP 96.38 %) costs 67x your stake, while the $h!t Spins round (RTP 96.71 %) will set you back 345x your stake. If watching a mohawk version of Einstein taking a piss with ‘bu-tt’ tottoed on his rear end, or a similarly punked up Churchill taking a dump in a cramped glory hole toilet, somehow offends you, well, then Punk Toilet just isn’t for you. Fans of the original will probably rejoice though, as this follow-up comes with exactly the same ‘couldn’t care less’ in-your-face attitude. This piss-and-shit-centric theme was actually the original idea that spawned the original game in the first place, which makes this a prequel sequel.

NoLimit City is no stranger to controversy, that much has been well established already, and Punk Toilet, despite all the moving parts, comes across as less complicated than many recent releases. The game is fast-paced, but the base game gets kind of repetitive after a while. The regular P!$$ bonus round is your most likely ticket into the enhanced $h!t Spins round, where the 33,333x win cap is cracked around 1 in 24K spins (compared to once every 4.1 million P!$$ spins). We’re glad to see the original idea come to fruition, and it will be interesting to see if it can dethrone the highly popular original game.
