This studio works hard to produce slots. We appreciate the dedication, but we’d like to see more creativity. Pots O’ Riches is one of the studio’s better slots, with colorful graphics and a good set of gameplay features. The playing field is standard, with 5 reels, 3 rows and 20 paylines.

Thematically, Pots O’ Riches is about all things Irish. Even a single glance reveals that, as there are plenty of clovers. The background is lush and so are the visuals, so it’s easy to like the eye candy.

The slot’s volatility is medium-high, which indicates that you won’t get a completely relaxing experience. There’s no official max win, though we are confident that you can win at least 500x your bet per spin. The least you can play for is £0.20, while high rollers can set their stakes to as much as £200 per spin. The theoretical RTP is then 95.49%, though a small part of that belongs to the associated jackpot system.

Pots O’ Riches Slot Features

The symbols of Pots O’ Riches are colorful, but they are also a bit bland. Most pay symbols are only about card ranks, with only the Pots O’ Riches logo standing out. That’s the top-paying symbol, which can bring you up to 12.5x your bet in a full combination.

Aside from pay symbols, there are also four special symbols in Pots O’ Riches - Celtic Knot Wilds, Leprechaun Scatters, Pots of Gold Scatters and Door Scatters. While the Scatters are there to trigger the slot’s gameplay features, Celtic Knot Wilds can substitute for any of the pay symbols in winning combos. They also have payout values of their own, which means that they can net you a 25x payout for a five-of-a-kind combination.

If you find 3 or more Door Scatters on the board, you’ll trigger the Lucky’s Charm feature. It’s a simple minigame that will allow you to pick from a selection of doors. Once you make your choice, you’ll reveal a cash prize that can be worth up to 50x your bet.

The next feature is called Rainbow’s End. To trigger it, simply find 3 or more Leprechaun Scatters on the board. This time, there’s a trail minigame through which you can advance and collect either a bet multiplier or an entry to the Pots O’ Gold Bonus.

The Pots O’ Gold Bonus can also be activated via 3 Pots of Gold Scatters, so there are two ways of reaching it. Once you get to it, you’ll see 12 pots that contain various multipliers. You can collect multiple pots at once and the most that you can get from this feature is 500x your bet.

At any point of the game, you can also trigger the Jackpot King feature by finding 5 Crown symbols at once. That doesn’t happen often, but, when it does, you’ll get a shot at winning a huge progressive jackpot!

Review Summary

At the end of the day, Pots O’ Riches is a rather average Irish-themed slot. We do appreciate its 3 gameplay features and we do like the inclusion of the Jackpot King system, but there are some serious minuses as well. The production values are only average, for one, and the overall math model is hardly good. Many better Irish-themed slots have been released since this one came out, so we recommend that you check out those instead.
