The swashbuckling soundtrack is pretty much perfect for a game like this, and the visual presentation is solid as well. The pirate captain could perhaps have been a bit less stingy with his bomb, not least since the Explosive Modifier is the only thing keeping you warm in the base game. Massive wins are not really possible in Plunderin' Pirates Hold & Win, but keeping afloat is not all that hard due to the medium volatility.
The big highlight is undoubtedly the Hold & Win feature, which comes with a nice selection of booty booster modifier coins. We’ve seen similar things before from this developer, but having modifiers like this is still enough to lift Plunderin' Pirates above the run-of-the-mill hold and win releases we see all the time. The feature is visually engaging as well, but this release would probably fare better with a higher potential than 880x the stake.
