Outsourced: Payday Review
This game presents a highly unique claw machine win mechanic. Production is up a lot despite the claw often dropping the winning symbols it picks up.
When the claw successfully grabs a winning symbol from the conveyor belt and holds onto it, you win the bet multiplier amount displayed on the symbol. There are 6 symbols with values ranging from 0x to 100x your stake, and the 7th doll head symbol is worth 1,000x your stake. There are no regular win ways or reels, and you can expect the biggest payday when the claw picks up the Claw Spins bonus symbol. The difference between the base game and the bonus round isn’t massive, but at least the 0x symbols have been removed so that 2x is the minimum prize available.
This slot is a rather simple game despite the unusual win mechanic, but eligible players get plenty of Booster and Bonus Buy options to choose from. These include spins with up to 5 claws active, or even God Mode spins where the MAX WIN symbol is guaranteed to be present on the conveyor belt. This feature comes with a hefty price tag as usual, but it can crack the 10,000x potential from a single round.
The medium volatility makes this significantly less brutal than some other games, and it’s definitely an interesting release that stands out. If you’re looking for a quirky and engaging game that offers a refreshing break from the usual slot format, you can’t go wrong with this.
Outsourced Payday Features
The gameplay is simpler than usual, and there aren’t all that many features to cover compared to the average slot release. However, we’ll take a closer look at how this innovative game works below.
Claw Spins
The Claw Spins Bonus Round triggers when the claw successfully picks up the Claw Spins symbol, awarding 3 free spins. You win +3 extra free spins whenever this happens during the bonus round. The only difference from the base game is that all symbols that appear are worth at least 2x your stake. The bonus round hit rate is a solid 1 in 94 spins.
Outsourced Payday Bonus Buy and Booster (not UK)

Theme & Graphics
This immediately grabs your attention with its unique claw machine mechanic. Instead of spinning reels, you watch a claw grab symbols, hoping it holds on for a win. The cartoonish visuals feature a tangled web of wires and control panel buttons, giving it a quirky, almost homemade feel. Adding to the fun is the robotic soundtrack, especially the catchy "I got paid, I want to spend my money" line that plays during the bonus round.

Our Verdict
It seems the creators weren't content with just being innovative, they had to go and create a whole division for their wildest ideas. While I applaud their creativity, maybe it's time for a department too, just to see what they can do with more ordinary themes.
That said, this game fits right in with their offbeat style. The claw machine mechanic has a nostalgic charm, bringing back memories of trying to snag those elusive stuffed animals at the fair. However, the base game can get repetitive quickly. Even with medium volatility, I found myself facing a lot of dead spins with the annoying 0x symbols clogging up the conveyor belt.
Thankfully, the Claw Spins bonus round triggers fairly often (about 1 in 94 spins). However, with only 3 free spins unless you win retriggers, it often feels like it's over before it even begins. Just removing the 0x symbols doesn't quite cut it. Some multipliers or extra features would have gone a long way in making the 10,000x max win feel more attainable.
While we appreciate the innovative spirit, this game might leave some players feeling a bit underwhelmed. At least that’s the feeling I was left with, although the game certainly had its moments. That being said, players not eligible to take advantage of the Booster and Bonus Buy menu will hardly get as much out of this game as those who are. I recommend testing the demo for a while, before deciding if you want to play for real money.
