In the end, however, we were blessed with a 5x multiplier, bringing our total win to a significant 266.75x our stake.
Review Summary
Octopus Treasure has a well-executed theme in which the octopus plays an important role in the gameplay. This gives the game a sense of aliveness, but it is also a source of disappointment, unfortunately. The somewhat long octopus animations frequently result in only little wins (or even a dead spin), especially in the base game.
It does break up the regular grind, but it replaces it with something that isn't particularly exciting. The Treasure Free Spins round includes these repetitive animations on every spin, but you may need to be lucky with the random multiplier in the end (if you get one) to win anything substantial. Octopus Treasure is an acceptable title from a busy developer, but it occasionally feels clumsy and irritating.
