Our Verdict
Napoleon Megaways is a game designed to attract fans who desire to try the machine in a different pack. Almost nothing has been saved from the original series game except for the wild multipliers despite the different way they execute. Sadly, the Napoleon Streak feature is no more!
The Megaways mechanics will always be a thrill for players, even after more advanced engines are searching for their place on the table. But, in this particular case, the reel-changing grid is rather simple. There are no cascades in the mix and no Extra Reel on top, and as a result, spins generate only 15,625 ways.
Indeed, the payout system is much improved compared to those 20 paylines, but the true Megaways fans know what I mean. The RTP rate also disappoints me since, in its best variant, the original game offers 96.64%, while here, the numbers are far from that. Then again, it's not all bad in Napoleon Megaways!
The slot machine comes with boosted visuals and a more fast-paced gameplay. The expanding wilds appear more frequently and almost always have a multiplier of x4 or x5. The game is much better than another release utilizing the same theme.
