Money Sleigh Review
This game focuses on bonus triggers and belongs to that niche.
A single glance at the game’s visuals is enough for one to realize that we’re dealing with holiday-themed game here, and it’s easy to like its relaxing Christmas atmosphere. The team definitely didn’t miss here!
Additionally, I think it’s fair to mention that the game is equipped with an excellent user interface, and that the game works well on all kinds of mobile devices. In short, the fundamentals are all present, so I have nothing but praise for the developer’s efforts in these regards.
The playing field offers 5 reels and 4 rows, with an expansion available during the Respins feature. Notably, though, there aren’t any paylines to be found here, as you can’t actually form regular winning combinations in any way.
That’s because there simply aren’t any regular pay symbols in the game, which means that the entire base game experience is all about waiting for a bonus trigger. The good news, though, is that bonus triggers aren’t actually that hard to come by, at least compared with the vast majority of other games out there.
The mathematical model of the game combines a high volatility level with a very chunky 10,000x max win, so there’s certainly enough to play for. The game’s RTP is then bang on average at 96%, and you can enjoy the proceedings for many different bet levels between €0.10 and €100 per spin.
Money Sleigh Features
There’s only one real gameplay feature, but it’s rather enjoyable and complex, so let’s examine it in some detail!
Respins
The Respins feature, which is at the heart of the Money Sleigh game, is, in essence, your typical Hold and Win feature. It’s not basic by any stretch of imagination, however, and the developer decided to throw in a grand total of 12 special symbols to keep you engaged. Furthermore, you can unlock up to two extra reels by filling entire reels with symbols, which is a nice touch.
And what can you look forward to as far as the aforementioned special symbols are concerned? Well, there are Gatherer symbols that collect all values in view, Gatherer/Giver symbols that boost the values of a number of symbols, and Helper symbols that double the values of up to 8 other symbols.
Next, we have Santa symbols that restore special symbols that have already been used, Snow Bank symbols that remove all regular Money symbols from view, and Super Helper symbols that double the value of a single symbol up to 6 times. In the same vein, Super Giver symbols add a set value to a random symbol up to 10 times.
Last but not least, there are Eternal versions of Gatherer, Helper, Gatherer/Giver, and Santa symbols. These work as the regular versions of those special symbols, but they get activated with each subsequent respin, which can give you a massive boost. Eternal Mystery symbols then become different specials after each respin, adding a bit of excitement to the entire ordeal.
Pros And Cons Of Money Sleigh Slot
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| Holiday atmosphere | Essentially just a re-skin |
| High bonus trigger rate | |
| Respins with a lot of special symbols | |
| 10,000x top win |
Our Verdict
At the end of the day, this is more than a re-skin of one of the developer's bigger hits.
In any case, the experience is very good, and the Respins feature offers more than enough complexity to keep you entertained for at least a couple of sessions. If you like this style of gameplay, there’s every chance that you’re going to be over the moon with this game!
For alternatives, I’d like to suggest another game which already seems to have a dedicated fan base and which takes the core bonus-centered gameplay idea to new heights!
