Being able to collect cash coins also in the base game makes a big difference, as now the cash symbols are not only there blocking regular wins. Visually, it’s perhaps not the best work we’ve seen from this developer, but the soundtrack is pretty good.
Watching the stack of cash coins grow ever-larger in the bonus round is a visually pleasing tease, and it certainly adds tension to the feature as the music also intensifies. This way non-collected coins are never wasted, and when Midas lands for repeated coin stack wins it feels pretty darn good. The idyllic fishing trip nostalgia is not present in this game though, but we’re crossing our fingers for a fishing reskin and/or clone with similar features and stats.
