Majestic King is an aesthetically pleasing slot game with 5 reels, 3 rows and 25 win ways. The base game and bonus round have randomly triggered stacked wilds and double symbols. There's also a multiplier collect bonus game, and this is a medium volatile, safari-themed game with a 300x potential.
The african choirs in the soundtrack is perhaps the most spectacular thing about this version of Majestic King. The features are entertaining, but there's no roar under the hood. We much prefer the Expanded Edition, where, the math model mistakes have been corrected.
Majestic King Features
The mighty white lion is the wild symbol and will step in for all regular symbols to help you form winning combos. There are 2 randomly triggered features to look out for here.
Firstly, you have the Stacked Wild feature that gives you a bunch of stacked lion wilds randomly placed on the reels. You can also get “Only Double Symbols!” announced, and this means that all symbols land as doubles that are worth twice as much. On regular spins you can also land the double version of symbols, mixed with the regular symbols.
The Multiplier bonus game is triggered when you land 3 bonus symbols anywhere on the reels. It takes you into a special reel set where only new bonus symbols or blanks will land. On the left-hand side you’ll see a multiplier meter that goes from 3x to 40x. The aim is to collect bonus symbols to climb up the multiplier meter.
Each bonus symbol you collect will also increase your total win, and you can land +1 symbols to get extra spins. You start with 5 spins in this bonus game, and the feature is over when you run out of spins. At the end of the feature your total win is boosted by your achieved multiplier.
You trigger the free spins bonus round by landing 3 game logo scatters anywhere in sight. You will then spin a wheel of fortune with 2 levels. Majestic King comes with a spectacular soundtrack, and some of the visual effects are also quite impressive. The math model however, is not all that impressive. The highest payout is 300x your stake, which is way too weak for a medium volatile title these days. This ruins an otherwise strong and entertaining game.
You get plenty of action in the base game here, due to the 2 randomly triggered features, and you have both a bonus game and a free spins round to break up the grind. The RTP of 96 % is average though, just to top off the lousy potential. Clearly, the developer realized their mistake, and made a far better sequel with the 6-reels Expanded version.
