Limbo Game Review
Limbo is a Crash game. This is a simple, instant-win arcade with fast-paced gameplay and a high RTP rate if played correctly. The machine lacks bonus features and advanced modifiers, but that doesn't mean it has nothing to offer!
Perhaps few gamblers remember that once started with scratch cards and gradually turned into one of the hottest iGaming providers. Nowadays, slot enthusiasts are shivering in anticipation of the new release, but the company has not given up on its roots! And although it rarely crafts new scratch-offs anymore, it successfully exploits another iGaming vertical.
Arcades powered by Crash mechanics have turned into mega-hits for fans of this type of gambling. Limbo is another popular title, although it has nothing to do with the horror-themed 2D puzzle game. challenged Crash fans with Mines in 2022, Plinko in 2023, and nearly a dozen others.
Limbo is an easy to play arcade based entirely on luck! Indeed, various strategies can be applied given the wide betting range, but skills have nothing to do with potential success. Marvelous audio effects can be switched on and off, and the game is packed with Turbo Mode and Autoplay, which I'll mention later.
Limbo rules 2 easy steps that every player can set in a second. First, you will need to adjust the Target Multiplier to a point you think that the counter will reach and exceed. You can do that via the green input placed on the left side of the screen. The win multiplier can’t be lower than x1.05 or higher than x10,000. That is the maximum win in the game!
Step 2 is to adjust your bet via the switch just beneath the Target Multiplier input on the left again. Stakes vary from €0.10 to €100, so you have plenty of levels to explore. Whenever you are ready, hit the "Bet" button, and the Limbo counter in the middle of the screen will start and stop randomly at any number.
You can see a history of the last 5 achieved Multipliers above the most recent one and just below the LIMBO label. The Limbo RTP rate is fantastic - 98%, but levels of volatility depend on your strategy. Keep in mind that your chances for success change with every Target Multiplier modification.
For example, the winning odds for the lowest target of x1.05 are 93.33%, but your profit will be slim. On the flip side, the max win of 10,000x the bet is quite a rare event with odds of 0.009%. Therefore, it would be wiser to set a target with acceptable risk and decent profit, like 2x (49%) or 3x (32.67%).
Limbo Features
As I already mentioned, Limbo features straightforward gameplay and lacks special features or bonuses. The only extras besides the sound settings are Autoplay and Turbo Mode. You can enable faster play via a tab in the bottom toolbar on the left side of the screen.
Autoplay, on the other hand, is at the upper side of the interface and allows advanced modifications. You can set the number of automated plays, a total session loss limit, and a single win limit. That is pretty much what you can adjust, change, or modify in this Crash arcade.
Theme & Graphics
Limbo was once created to attract fans of video games and puzzles. The modern take has nothing to do with that, and it's a simple, black and white (or green) challenge. According to , the purpose of the game is to test not how low you can fall but how high you can climb and claim the grand prize.
Graphics are fine here, but the dark colors will hide the flaws anyway. I would rate the relaxing audio and the fast-paced gameplay highly. Limbo is, of course, compatible with all devices and operating systems. You can easily run it in landscape or portrait mode via any browser on Windows, Android, and iOS devices.

Our Verdict
Limbo is an excellent Crash game that will certainly be appreciated by fans of the genre. Those who prefer more action-packed gambling challenges should try awesome online slots. The studio has managed to squeeze out an excellent payout rate, almost the highest in its portfolio.
Only Plinko beats it in its highest-RTP variant - 98.98%, while Mines and Dice match it, and Speed Crash remains close with 97%. Given the lack of modifiers and random prizes, these games rely on mechanics and gameplay. Therefore, the high RTP rate and help screens, like the one displaying the win odds, are key.
I can only compare this title with Limbo XY launched in June 2023. The RTP here is 97%, at best, while the max win multiplier is identical. Unlike other Crash games, both Limbo titles are based on RNG and not Provably Fair technology. That can be considered intriguing by fans of conspiracies!
There are many other variants of the game released by smaller studios, but they come with missing technical information and more Crash-themed gameplay. A good example is the Limbo arcade, where we can at least see the rate of 97% and rest assured that it's genuine because of the provider's audit seals.
But the focus in this and all the other similarly-designed games is different. A rocket is about to take off, and a win multiplier will grow until it crashes. Well, I must admit that there is a massive resemblance with Limbo, but these are two different games. Anyway, Limbo is a good adaptation, and you can test it free of risk via our complimentary demo.
