The developers have explored the Crash game genre before, but it's fair to say their previous efforts weren't particularly impressive. However, we're happy to give Limbo Cat a try, as it seems to be better in some respects. Before a final verdict, we need to go through some details!

Thematically, Limbo Cat features a cat with a tank, a funny take on things. There have been military-themed Crash games before, but this one is light-hearted, which should please many players. The production values aren’t particularly impressive, but they work fundamentally.

You can play Limbo Cat for stakes between £1 and £100 per game round, with the overall jackpot apparently at 10,000x your bet. That’s quite impressive, but there’s disappointing news. The theoretical RTP of Limbo Cat is only 94.20%, which is poor.

Limbo Cat Gameplay and Features

If you haven’t played a Crash/Burst game, here’s a brief overview. Once you load the game, you place your bet or bets for the upcoming round. Then, the game round starts, and you’ll see the cat’s tank moving forward, with the displayed bet multiplier increasing. Your objective is to click the Take button before the tank gets destroyed. If you do, you’ll collect the winnings. If not, you’ll have to hope for a better outcome in the next round.

As is standard, you can place as many as two bets per round in Limbo Cat, which means you can go for two separate strategies if you want. That adds complexity, which is pleasant.

Your usual autoplay and multiplayer features are also present in Limbo Cat, but it’s all familiar, and it would be nice to see the developer improving in this area.

Notably, there are random boxes that the tank can crush. Whenever that happens, the displayed win multiplier will be multiplied by 1.2x, so you’ll want to see as many as possible!

Review Summary

Unfortunately, we aren’t particularly impressed by Limbo Cat, and there are better Crash games out there. It’s nice to see a game with such a funny theme, and the random boxes are a nice feature, but the low RTP pulls this game down significantly.
