Legend of Nezha is a Chinese-themed slot, devoted to a teenage god Prince Nezha. For those not in the knows, Nezha is a protection deity in Chinese folk religion, who serves as a patron saint of young adults. According to the legend, he was born with superhuman strength and was able to speak as soon as he left his mother’s womb after gestating for three and a half years. This release gives you an opportunity to take advantage of Nezha’s powers, who brings bigger winning opportunities during the gameplay, doubling on the reels whenever he appears.

While Nezha isn’t really often seen in the slots world, being a somewhat unpopular deity when compared to other Chinese gods, the Legend of Nezha slot still struggles to stand out of the crowd of Asian-styled games. We find the design quite trivial, as it completely sticks to the traditional Chinese formula. Anyway, the looks of the Legend of Nezha slot aren’t that bad, as the cartoonish graphics are sharp and there are lots of animations that add a touch of life to the environment.

We’ve seen so many Chinese slots that we’ve probably witnessed pretty much everything in the niche, so it actually becomes harder and harder to appreciate Asian slots, especially when they hardly offer anything new. Legend of Nezha is not bad, it has fun and powerful features, yet they are pretty simple. The design won’t impress anyone either, probably except for those who can’t get enough of China. For players really into the Asian thing, there’s enough entertainment to be found. For those who aren’t fans of the theme though, we don’t think Legend of Nezha is worth taking the time.
