The story of Aladdin, the magic lamp, and the genie granting him 3 wishes became an instant classic when Disney introduced it to the western and world audience. It appeals to a deep-seated fantasy most people have, namely being able to get anything they wish for. It’s based on the Arabian tale from One Thousand And One Nights, and a partner has created a game that’s clearly inspired by the cartoon from 1992.

Lamp Of Infinity comes with no base game features, and Aladdin himself (or a character based on him) is nowhere to be found in this game. It’s funny how some slots come across as superficial, glossy and overly commercial, like a hyped up, formulaic Hollywood movie with no substance. Lamp Of Infinity gave us that impression from the get-go, and it’s like it’s trying too hard without having the goods to back it up. With only 5 paylines, the best you can hope for is 500x payouts for a full screen base game win. Nothing else goes on in the main game in terms of features, but at least the bonus round triggers quite frequently (a 1 in 121 spins hit rate is well above average).

Judging purely from the math model, however, Lamp Of Infinity is interestingly enough a pretty solid game compared to most of what is out there. The bonus round hits quite frequently, as already mentioned, and the 5,000x potential is solid enough as well (and not least when you consider the generous 1 in 1 million spins hit rate). You can expect plenty of dead spins in the bonus round though, and usually a low win multiplier. Overall, Lamp Of Infinity lacks excitement and substance, but math model cynics might favor the odds it has to offer.
